Yeah, sorry about this. I could handle the lack of attention I get here compared to FA or even E621, but I get this kind of sinking feeling in my gut whenever I check my inbox anymore. This is a place for kiddy stuff and rule 34. I refuse to do the first, and don't do the second as much as I'd actually kind of like to. Say what you want, but when you actually block child-related keywords, this site becomes a ghost-town.

Honestly, I feel that it works the other way around as well. The community seems to have a stigma of "that site hosts cub art" against the site, and choose to avoid it altogether. It's a shame, since the site is well put together and visually appealing.

It's mainly a cub based community and rule 34 community, but I've see a higher base of people who do non-cub/34 stuff around Weasyl (I don't like the site for personal reasons) while FA is the midway (Not for posters, but for people who join in as the community)

I don't use this site just for the cub smut. I use it mainly because it just works the best all around. I don't have time to lurk 2 art sites, so this is my site of choice. If cubs were banned here, I'd still be here. There's mainly only cubs because none of the noncub artists like to stay. If more were open minded and posted here, there would be more than just cubs. But some are so dense, they even bash the clean stuff and that's just moronic.

Hi I'm knid of new-ish (pfft nearly a year) to the whole art website thing, or digital art in general, but i can tell you that even though your images are excellently lined, your colouring is lackluster. I think when it comes to people commenting they tend to comment of subject matters they like or awesome shading. I mean the lowest views i've seen on your images are at least 100+ which means people are looking at your art. From my short experience here, I've noticed streams with other artists and "cute" looking stuff are the most popular, I also think you can have cute without it being "cub". I just find being an artist isnt about the attention its about making cool stuff. Even though i understand a public silence can be painful, you shouldnt give up.

Can't blame ya. Comments are going extinct here. I feel like FA is like a big town where you find lots of things. E621 is more of a sex shop (bad dragon) And comments are often much more jerk-ish. Sofurry its like a village. However IB is weird. like a strange exotic island. A pirate Island with little rules and "THINGS" happen. And like in many islands there are few people and more that often the same ones. I like to call it the Flip Side of the Fandom. The Fandom being silly weird on its very essence and you just hit an even lower level under the carpet.

*Sigh* Shame, I'm considering more and more dropping looking around on FA myself with the drama from IMVU and management, and looking to see who posts elsewhere....sad to see that stigma of what "X site is supposed to be fore" can drive great artists away, and result in said stigma becoming self-enforcing. Just properly started setting up this account (and blacklisting things, thank you FA -.-) too. Hope you do well regardless!

Was wondering why you weren't uploading here anymore, and the answer was right here (sorry, I skip journals, too much to read from all the artists together and I'd like to get something done on top of browsing all the wonderful things). Sad to see another one leave for such reasons. It's kinda self-fulfilling dilemma tho, the more artists who think this is only for the stuff they don't personally make and leave, the more it becomes true simply by removal of the artists who do make the other stuff. I don't comment much on anyone's work and This is one of the reasons I don't want to comment on any site because it will create perceptional bias if I don't copy the comment to every other site the artists post on, not to mention I seem to be only making comments like "Hey, nice work, gj" over and over again which doesn't actually Say anything more than the +fav does and I feel stupid for writing it out. Anyway, sad to see you leave, I still watch you on probably every other site you post on!!!
