Just as a heads up to anyone who has me on their Skype....
I'm no longer using it. I'm light sensitive, and ~REALLY~ despise the new ad-ridden memoryleak ridden newer versions, doubly so because it no longer shows chat in the traditional form.
Well, today when going to send a message to someone it decided to pop up the upgrade now box (for the sixth time in two hours!) and then started upgrading.... With no option to stop it. New version has all the previously mentioned problems PLUS the fact it's glaringly bright.
I have to redo a lot of the backgrounds for various websites so I don't get eyestrain in really short order, or worse a headache... Well, this new version of Skype is glaringly bright, and you STILL can't skin the program, so...
Go fuck yourself Microsoft, you fucked up MSN Messenger after making it popular, then nuked it, and now you've royally screwed around with Skype. Fuck it, I'll stick with Whatsapp since I can skin it and it actually works as advertised.
...EDIT 19:15 MST..... Managed to force it back to 6.2.1.0.104, which is good, because now I can actually look at Skype without having to reach for my sunglasses. I wish I was joking about the sunglasses bit.
