As I've been writing into this story, honestly the more I've grown distant from it. This comes from two places. The first is the original inspiration for wanting to create this hero story came from playing Star Wars The Old Republic again and feeling energized by Jedi and Sith, looking to create a story about a new super hero with the loner, disposition, and control over lightning that a Sith would have, but being good, yet not anti-hero about it. As I said, though, this blending of two genre's was not well enough to give me enough ideas or interest in it, especially with my current terrible professors and some other stresses, including my health. So for now I feel like I need to reevaluate this piece. I'm sorry to those who have had an interest in seeing it come about as well as participating in the voting that was to be a part of it.
That was the bad news, the GOOD news is...
I have been watching a lot of footage of Super Sentai these past few days, and I am SUPER syked in a way I haven't been since I was watching Power Rangers as a little kid and I have realized THIS is the sort of story I really wanna tell. Not only have I been writing up notes on it all day, but I've realized how this not only can fit into my own world continuity, but how it can absorb the previous story to add more. So here we are with a more focused theme and more focused concept. I still intend to do voting and with my sudden increase, however small, in watchers I intend to continue the idea of having ya'll vote on ideas and such.
I must confess, however, I really wish I could be doing this as a comic, rather than a written story. Let's face it, most furs would rather see visual art rather than written, twice as hard if it has little to no sex in it. Also action scenes are more enjoyable (at least to me) when they can be viewed. Sadly the manga creating software I had does not work with Win 7, only XP so I need something new. I'm no artist and I can't imagine there's a furry artist with this sort of interest, let alone would do it for free, at least until there was something to split (they drawing and me writing the script). So I need something (either free, dirt cheap, or donated) to help me create the comics myself with tools, is such a thing actually exists.

Now, with all that said, let's move forward with the first voting subject.
I've decided that this story might contain a team of up to six Sentai. This possible team might contain a:
Bear
Lion
Cat
Wolf
Fox
However, at that point I can't really think of any really good or obvious choice, especially for a girl. This is where you guys come in, if my team was coming to be a full team of 5, plus 1, what other species would YOU like to see?
Rules here are simple this time around, for now:
1. one suggestion per person.
2. no copyrighted characters (ex. Pokemon or Digimon)
3. no original species unique to a creater. (ex, while a Unigan would be super cute, only Onta could come here and suggest their inclusion, since they created that species and belongs to them. I imagine stuff like Sergals (spell?) would be another example.) In the unlikely event a species creater (ex. Onta) pops in and suggests their creation, others can also chime in on that species in order to increase votes.
4. the winner will be the chosen from the species with the most votes.
5. You can't vote for any of the above mentioned (I already considered them and "cat" means house cat types, just for the record) and if you later decide you'd like to change your vote, please don't edit or close your post, simply reply to yourself with your new vote, this should be the only replies to people this journal should have.
