Thanks!

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

My sister did remember to do dinner/cake! We had a baked penne with chicken, bacon, parmesan, mozza, and an alfredo sauce (with a dash of Caesar dressing mixed in) with garlic bread for dinner.

She also got me a Cookies n Creme cake. It was great! The bottom layer is chocolate and the top is vanilla. The frosting is more of a whip cream kinda thing (so it isn't overpoweringly sweet like regular frosting) and it was decorated with mini oreos (whole and crushed). It was the first time I'd had a cake like that and it was tasty! There is a lot in the fridge still. :) I like the less-sweet icing!

We watched Tangled as we ate 'cause I'd only seen it once. It was a good time. :)

... In other news, I just had a jackass customer. >__> I submitted the story to "Not Always Right" and hope it shows up there one day (the queue is very long). But in case it doesn't and you guys want to read it... I put it on pastebin.

No real recipe. Just cook up the things (my sister did buy 'pre-cooked' chicken and cut it into smaller pieces, and chopped the bacon up small) including the noodles and mix it all together. She used a garlic/alfredo sauce in a jar. Sprinkle mozza on the top and bake for 20min. Or, you can skip the baking and mozza and just eat it as is.

And she knows I hate onions, so she didn't add any... like she usually would.

Sounds like a fun Bday, and sorry to hear about a bad customer finding you. Sounds like the food stuff would be as much to make as to eat. :9

Do you take a contact number for customers or just take things as is? I've seen shops go either way.

When they drop off, I ask for their name and a phone number. I probably should have phoned him to let him know there was one less pair than he said there was... but I didn't think it would be such an ordeal. It has happened before and no one has had a problem with it.

Damn, that all sounded so tasty, it made me hungry! D8
You really had one yummy Bday! x3

And yeah, I know that tipe of customers. They always blame the workers and not themselves. It's impossible for them to believe that they're those who did the mistake and instead of comming to agreement and closing the problem they'd keep bitching.
I bet he got home and found his pants, but even then would think of a way to still think you're the one to blame for something.
Yeah, had lots of peoples like that.

For example - I worked as a guard at Superpharm and one at morning a man with huge bag came in. He wandered between all the parfumes, smelling them, which always get me and owners nervous by how expensive those are and easy to steal. He throws annoyed glares at me, as I don't leave him from my sight.
Then he goes to deodorants, sprays like half a can on himself and takes it to the cashier, thus I believe he wanted to pay. Soon I see him next to other cashier point that yet not arrived with a higienic lipstic and without deodorant.
When I confront him that there's no cashier, he heads to the exit and there I stop him, asking if he didn't forgot to put deodorant back wiere he took it, since he didn't buy anything.
His huge bag still makes me feel nervous as its so easy to steal little things with it.
After I politely asked him about deodorant, he outright start yelling at me, that I assume he's a thief and he will make sure I'd loose that job and stuff if I'd dare to check him.
Two weeks after I found his face on a desk of 'perhibited to enter' that was caught on theft.
Figures I was right about him.
And that's not only example. -_-
Those who start outright yelling and accusing, most of the time are guilty themselves and eighter know it for sure, or feel that, not knowing for sure.

Yeah, they think that if they yell long/loud enough that they will get their way. I am sure that this guy will find that green pair of pants at home, and then be too embarrassed to even phone and apologize. I mean, it isn't like there is another employee here to blame it on. I tagged his stuff as soon as he left so I could call the dry cleaning guy to stop at my shop for pickup on his rounds. I didn't move them from the counter he set them on and misplace one. they got tagged and shoved into a bag right away.
