The fact that this is even being considered at all is disgusting and makes me despise this state and every lawmaker we have in it. This is gross and allows for the violation of the rights of every single person in this state, based on the flimsy excuse that it's okay because of their religion.
So if you're a big fan of letting EMTs ignore dying people because the person is gay, or a member of another religion or a divorcee. Or a police officer who refuses to help someone because they're inside a mosque or something feel free to tell our lawmakers what a good job they're doing, otherwise do something about this, I did. I had hoped that we were passed such obvious discrimination by now. This is pitiful.
