Things are going to be a little quiet from here on out.

This was originally posted on FA with a stream announcement, but thanks to it's technical headaches, it was probably never seen, let alone read:

As much as I didn't want to, things have gotten so bad that I had to go crawling back to Wal Mart in order to keep from going under. I've been absent the past few days in order to readjust my sleep schedule and prepare. Once things get started, this is what's going to happen.

1. Massively reduced streams: As much as I enjoy doing them, I won't be able to juggle them with a retail job looming over. I may have to reserve it to at least once or twice a week, but knowing how bad retail can get, I'd probably be too exhausted and sick of work to want to fire up a stream program.

2. Massively reduced artwork: With full time work comes less time to do... everything else. While I know I still owe artwork to an individual or two, I'll do what I can when I find the spare time to wrap up those owed pieces. If not, I'll offer refunds to make up for it. While I still want to do what I can artwise, from past experience working with this company, I'll be lucky if I produce a new piece of art every 2 months provided I don't burn out.

I was hoping that things would have been different this time and I could have found work that would have been a lot more flexible, but things just weren't panning out. I hoped that I could have been able to focus my artwork in a way that could have supported me fully but nothing was working. Either I didn't try hard enough or I just wasn't providing people what they really wanted or I didn't advertize enough, I dunno. Either way, with things as cloudy as they are, there's just no future for the Tail right now.

I hope it works out for you, bud, and that it doesn't weigh too heavily on your mental health. Don't feel obligated to stream for our sake. I enjoy your streams and catch every one that I can, but you need to make sure that you're doing what you need to in real life. Rest as much as you need to so you don't have a breakdown (I've been there before) and maybe leave streams for when/if you have days off and aren't stressed out. The art will come when it comes.

YEAH ^^^ exactly what lancer said…… I'm sure you'll pull through it. just hang in there, at least now you have a steady flow of income….. and when things settle down a little I'm sure you'll be back in the saddle again.

I'm sure everyone from your streams is rooting for you all the way. and we will still be here for ya when you need us!

please take care of yourself, okay.

Sorry to hear this, Ian. After the financial crash when Busch left office, I was laid off and had to take a job at Walmart, so I know what it's like. After only a year, I managed to find something much more fitting my talents in Graphic Design and printing, so I was lucky. Keep checking your local Craigslist...that's what worked for me. You gotta make ends meet. It is a shame you are unable to find work more fitting to your obvious talents. Best of luck and I hope life gets better soon. Cyberbear
