Added nearly 200 submissions combined to Gallery and Scraps

Didn't want to spam the inboxes of you guys, so I figured I'd make a Journal to let you know I hauled (nearly) everything from FA over to IB. So now you can see my older stuff and keep track of my practice sketches.

Hope you enjoy exactly 4 years of work, and still counting! =3

It adds up, doesn't it! Hope FA to IB made it easier. :-)

Definitely. Was kinda a pain to make everything visible manually, but that only had to be done once, anyway, so I'm good to go =3

The only problem is that my recent works that were already uploaded here are now buried underneath the older works I uploaded using FA to IB, but I guess there's nothing I can do about that =P

But oh well, I'm grateful for the service, as I never would've made all those submissions manually =P

Alas, yes! We do that so that people can review the ratings and keywords for Inkbunny. Keywords, in particular, are a lot more important here, and on FA they're often lacking. :-/

It can cause issues with dating, yes. On the plus side, the people who saw your original works were around to watch you and see all these new (old) works.

We figured!

did us a big favour making it (and it's been getting better over time).

I see. But oh well, it's easy to get used to eventually =3

Indeed.
I talked to him before because I needed some help with FA to IB, and got quick and friendly replies.
And now you took the time to post on my Journal.
You're all doing a good job from what I've seen, with being helpful and talking to users on a more personal level, so keep up the good work ^w^

Actually, is it possible to donate to IB via PayPal? Good work has to be rewarded, after all =3

Yes, you can! Either greenreaper@gmail.com for USD, or greenreaper@hotmail.com for other currencies. You'll be added to our donor page and get a fancy badge, too, unless you request otherwise. :-)

Okay, I sent it to the latter adress. I put my username in the optional e-mail thing as proof.

Put it to good use, and keep up the good work ^w^

Thanks! You've helped us to keep the disks spinning for another day (literally!).

You're welcome. I'm glad I could help the site out ^w^

And I can just use the same address for future donations? Mention my username in the optional mail thing every time?
Also, now I'm curious, do donations stack for higher tier badges?

Sorry for the barrage of questions, but I'm also wondering why the miniature version of my avatar is kinda glitchy.

It could change, but that address will remain the same for at least the mid-future. As long as you use the same account I should be able to track it without you mentioning what it's for.

Donations stack for three or six months, depending on the level - bear in mind that you might reach one level only to drop back again because a past donation "timed out". It's probably easiest to figure out what you'd like to donate for three or six months and put that into one donation. That reduces the impact of fees, too. We value donations converted to US dollars using xe.com on the day you donate, based on the amount you send (not how much we receive).

Do you mean the wobbling? At a guess, a few of the frames don't use all the width and when it resized it, it fell on a boundary. GIFs can do weird things when you change their size.

Hm, I see.

So if I understood correctly, in order to maintain a rank, you have to donate the exact same amount within 3 or 6 months?
Then I'm kinda curious why the donations for 6 months for the gold rank is more than double the amount for 3 months (100 vs 250), whereas for every other rank, the amount for 6 months is simply the double of the amount for 3 months.

Well, that's good to know. Adding a static background seemed to do the trick.

Hope I'm not being annoying ^w^;

I meant only that as donations are currently based the amount donated within three or six months, it makes sense to figure out what you're aiming to get and donate to get it at once. If you donated $50 over the course of three months, you would only have silver for the third month (after which the first donation would "time out"), and bronze for months 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, vs three and three.

I don't know for sure why the gold/emerald level is different - @starling came up with the system - but here's a few ideas: a) it leads to rounder figures for the higher gem levels, b) it gives the gem levels (which were added later) increased status over gold/silver/bronze, and/or c) [with a)] it was intended to give special recognition to a donor who had given a lot.

Ah, I understand. Thank you for your explanation.
Although I'm still gonna donate out of kindness rather than the badges, even though it's a neat little extra. I was merely curious how it worked =3

Sorry for taking so much of your time, and thank you for you answers and for putting up with me ^w^
Have a nice weekend =3

That's the best reason to give! We didn't volunteer as staff for the cool badges, either. ;-)
