May I ask, is it against the rules for 2 people to use the same account? I'm asking mainly because we're being watched and I don't want my friend getting banned simply because I'm using a different account on the same computer.

Our terms strongly discourage sharing account credentials, because it makes it impossible for staff to determine who owns and is responsible for the account. The result can be blame for their actions, and risk that they may take the account away.

If two people use the same computer, it can also be hard to distinguish between them. We suggest that people who live with one another not get involved in each other's arguments, especially if it gets to the removal of comments. If one account has been banned and the other appears to be arguing on their behalf, we may take it as a form of ban circumvention.
