HentaiFoundry Bans Loli, Shota and Cub Art

Well, there goes most of the art I get from there. :/

Now it's pretty much just a site for taping horsecocks onto World of Warcraft ladies.

That's all I used the site for pretty much. It sucks cause now I have no idea where to go for it and I'm sure the artists/ writers are probably searching too.

i selfishly wish i had a chance to mass dl my faves ;-; selfishness aside, i can't imagine how some artists feel when a significant percentage of their stuff is suddenly "wrong" and they can't make money on comms for it until they find another place that still has time on the clock before they get pressured into cinching up the AUP too.

Nothing selfish about that. Saving content is a basic part of using the internet. Install Image Toolbar (on FF, presumably Chrome has similar) and it's a one-click thing.

I'm getting really goddamn tired of all these art sites with permissive AUPs enjoying the rush of new users juuust long enough to survivably exclude the content that people rushed toward. It's like if YouPorn got bigger than YouTube and decided not to do porn anymore.

Well, I more meant, if they had given a bit more advance warning. What they did was they disabled all pictures with loli or shota etc tag such that they're not viewable by anyone but the artist so they can archive it quick before they are deleted. I was like "oh crap better go going-out-of-business save my favorites" but they're already hidden ;_;

Well, god fucking dammit. I was doing a mad rush through artist pages I hadn't seen yet, and wondering why they were all "clean."

Why is InkBunny the only art site where admins bother telling users what's going on?

That's interesting because one of the Mods posts loli art there.

They just banned it, like within the last few hours.

Waaat D: Dammit, there was still so much I had to find. >_< Now if IB took this chance to allow it, then we could have a mass influx of new users... :P

Also, where on the site does it say this? I'm looking right now and can't find anything.

The first bit of Site News right below the art galleries. The admin doesn't state what has been censored, but then if you go to the Submission Policy (Linked at the end of the news post) it says that all art involving underage, and underage-looking characters is forbidden.

"There are certain types of content that have always caused us serious problems." Bullshit! You've been one of the few places to have that content - outside uncontrolled 'boorus, you had a practical monopoly.

If shuttering the site was ever a serious consideration, go down fighting, you pricks.

Can't say I'm terribly surprised, and for a few reasons. one sites like this one and Hentai Foundry are heavily unregulated and easily accessed by anyone (you can't say our age limitations aren't little more than the honor system. I know for a fact I was well below 18 when I entered and started contributing to the fandoms) Easy access to minor equals immediate red flags to anyone whose job it is "protect" the moral fiber of the new generation. Two. prudes cannot see the difference between fantasy and reality. The way they see it is, if you draw it you would do it. and you're encouraging others to do so as well (it's idiotic in my opinion, but I can see where there thinking comes from.-_-)  Freedom of speech & expression (which is where artistic freedom resides) only lasts in the eyes of the powers at be until you're dealing with something distasteful (and anything involving a minor is the BIGGEST EASIEST target, because while one could easily argue that you're dealing with fiction, fantasy, things that are literally harming no one, NO ONE comes to the aid of anyone even accused of being a pedophile, which is sort of the case) So instead of fighting an unwinable fight HF dropped lolis.... I don't like it. But I get it. My question is how long will it be before someone puts the screws to Inkbunny like they did to FA and HF
