Well hell… It looks like the powers that be found that I should have more job duties (Busy work). I have had to put my writing on the back burners because of it. I can only work on them when I’m off which means its going to be even longer before I can finish writing my stories. For those of you that don’t know the company I work for was sold to another company and the new owners (aka bosses aka the powers that be) SUCK!
I know what you maybe thinking and I have gone through company changes many times before. I’m old hat at changing everything I do in a blink of an eye so that I’m doing things to match the new owners ways.
This one is not a good change over. So much so that I am only one of three employees that have not quit (Well, not yet anyways). The company I used to work for has told me that they are trying to find me a place so I could stay with them. Worse case scenario is I have to stick it out with the new company until one of the two new offices that are going to be built in my town are open before I can go back to work for the old company.
In the mean while I’m working my two days off with the old company doing a two day a week only job. So basically I’m going the long way around saying that It’ll be some time before I can set down and write.
I’m very sorry to my readers I hope you are able to ‘wait it out’ with me. If not I understand and again I’m sorry for wasting your time. I hope you are able to find a writer that is more devoted to its readers. and is not a slave to his job just to pay the bills, as I am.
