Donkey Update, AC2014, and Future Goals

Hey! So it's been awhile since I made a journal proper that wasn't just a meme.

As you've probably noticed, there's been a lack of any notices notifying you of the art I would have you notice.

This is because....
I am employed!

Yes. I finally got a full time job and I have been trying to figure out how to fit things into my schedule.

So! AC 2014. Thanks to the wonderful

ikato I was able to get a last minute room with him,

flipstalombax and a fellow named Titus.

I didn't buy much, and what I did buy I gave to friends. This worked because I planned on spending my money on going out to eat at special places! (That didn't really happen, but that's okay.)

I spent most of the con just stalking people. Really anyone who would handle my company.

On a good note: All ya'all dancers did great! It was nice to see a bunch of new faces too! Can't wait to see ya'all next year.

So. Future goals.

I want more of my pieces to be in color. Not even digitally colored. I don't do well with digital medium. What I really want to do is pull out more traditional tools for coloring. Anything really. I mostly use my markers for the moment, and they're not even copics! (I would love copics though!) I want to even try out crayons and colored pencils, maybe even watercolors and watercolor pencils. (Those are totally a thing, and they're actually really cool.)

Also: Little known fact. I can dance. I just don't. Therefore, I want to practice more. I want to be able to go out on a dance floor and do something, instead of just having specific routines to specific songs.

Working out! I have a gym membership. I used to go most days of the week. THEN I GOT A JOB! Like I said earlier I'm still trying to figure out my schedule. I hope to be able to fit this in too, because I have gained weight. (Mostly from medications.)
