Sorry for going missing in action, the last week or so. I've been a bit down, the last few days. One of my friends from growing up passed away, and his funeral was back home. I had only recently reconnected with him last year, ironically at a funeral for another friend from the neighborhood. That sad day, we decided we should keep in touch more. We hadn't always been on the best of terms, growing up, but despite some of the neighborhood scuffles, we remained friends. Given the loss of one of us, we didn't want to lose another 'kid' and meet up only because of tragedy.
I never saw him in person alive, again, after that. Seeing the others again under the same circumstances was too much, and I still don't know what can be said about it all...
Everything is settling back down to normal, again. I started writing again, and the comic has been started.
That's about it, I guess. At least there are smiles yet to come.
