Alright, here's a little more info on the situation:
What's binding me up at the moment is that since the flight is on such short notice, it's going to cost about $600. So that's what I'm trying to scrape together at the moment to get out there.
They at least have got him in a slightly more stable condition but these past ten hours has been emergency surgery after surgery.
Pretty much he was getting ready for work, driving on the highway. Someone coming from the opposite direction fell asleep at the wheel. Drove over the grass and drifted onto my dads lane and nailed him head on. Dad never saw it coming as the sun was directly in his eyes so by the time he saw it, they figured he never had a chance to recover.
Guy in the other car was killed at the accident.
As for injuries. Quite a bit of internal bleeding, head injury(to what extent I don't know yet), left elbow mangled from the door, right knee crushed from impacting the center console. Broken ribs, etc...
He's in real nasty shape and he has yet to gain full consciousness.
So that's the deal right now. I've been up all night long so I'm going to try and get some sleep. Thank you for the signal boost and what little some of you can spare. It's been a huge help so far.
