So for years I've been using a rather old email program called Eudora. The original version (which is what I use) has been discontinued for quite some time, and an attempt to recreate it on top of Mozilla Thunderbird is also quite dead.
Well, apparently, it does not seem to like Windows 7 64-bit. It was locking up frequently, and then one day it unrecoverably froze up the whole computer. After hard-rebooting it, I discovered that some part of Eudora has become corrupted, and it is no longer functioning properly at all, and I can't seem to fix it.
So I guess I need something new. It should support multiple accounts, filtering based on headers, and custom alert sounds. However, the thing I really am having trouble finding is an email client that has a multiple document interface. Something that lets me have multiple emails open at once, without a bunch of windows in my taskbar.
Anybody have any good suggestions?
