how much people wanted megaman?

well.. the kickstarter for Mighty No 9 passed half of the asked ammount of money in a single day.. take that Capcom.

I guess they are busy working on another version of super archi definitive ultra ultimate super (again) super super street fighter vs *insertrandomseries*  ...which includes 2 new characters, 1 new background, re-balanced characters (pppffffft.. that was cheap capcom... they seriously did that on SSF4), and a extra ridiculous movement for all.  but is deep inside, the same old game for the price of a totally new one.

oh oh.. or perhaps a resident evil of war...  or or  gears of evil...  i don't know ..is hard to notice the difference nowdays.

now now. You know that the two new characters will make two of the original fan favorites DLC only(while on the disc).

Fuck Crapcom. They ruined their best 2 franchises and just about everything else they have. Ultra Street Fighter IV is gonna get its ass beat by King of Fighters XIV, Guilty Gear X3, and maybe even Killer Instinct 3, anyway.

King of Fighter? You mean the games series that has little to no following in the US? LOL and Guilty Gear Xrd which while it has a rather good reception is overall being pandered by the actual community cause it's looking awfully BlazBlueish? lol You realize taht Street Fighter IV is still one of the most widely played Fighting games in the community to date next to Marvel 3 right? LOL

So what if KoF doesn't have a huge following like Shit Fighter IV? The quality is still much better. Guilty Gear, which has not seen another game in years will sell without a hitch. Those fans pandering about it looking like BlazBlue can go shut up because BlazBlue is Guilty Gear with a different name and set of characters.

USF4 still has the advantage over Arc sys anime fighters in that they have a much broader demograph outside of japan.

sad really, id like to play more people outside of my country in Persona 4 arena

I wish they would stop it and come up with some great RPGs like the old once...... back when we could travel around the world and not dot to dot to dot. Back when it would take days and days to beat the game. ^-^

The days when the game would punish you for dying by making you replay the four hours again and gain.

I miss those days, and I miss so many good games from those days.

well.. that's the spirit of the rpgs...  even if sounds boring XD.. is the same in world of warcraft and all final fantasy games ^^

It's not just boring, but frustrating when each monster only takes 10 damaged from you the whole time and has 300 in HP each.

Maybe that's why I like Grandia II so much, it only requires you to do it for two hours before you can advance the plot.

My fav RPG is Breath of fire for the SNES. XD Oh Oh and can't forget Chrono trigger. ^-^

Yeah. I hate how some go on about how long most RPGs are. My friend and I always tell them. " If you are only after a Eye candy game play Zone of the enders. You cab beat it with in a day."

This is really cool, but at the same time... Things like this make me think... Don't some things get instant love and support thanks to nostalgia pretty much? You know... So many great games are made these days, but everybody's suddenly going crazy about this one, because it brings back something they know and love, even if other games available on the market give similar gameplay experience. I have to admit this looks really awesome, but let's not get overhyped.

I guess what I'm trying to say is... I wish some other games being made were noticed a bit more. But it feels like people aren't good at getting into new things. It's easy to get their attention with something they know and love.

The thing is, Ultimate Street Fighter IV while it seems like a cop out is actually something the game needed really badly cause while it seems like just taking the game and making it the same, it actually makes it feel like a completely different game on a fundamental level lol. The fact that the community actually helped with these balance patchs means that it's going to be about as good as it's going to get while we wait that five year gap for a actual new game. Cause Street Fighter IV in it's current iteration is rather broken to a point LOL. What with Unblockables and the like. Really this was more of a service to the FGC rather then the whole public. Which is why it's only a 15 dollar patch rather then a full blown release. Unlike fucking Marvel which was >>; well ridiculous. But that's a whole other argument. As for the adding the other characters I dunno it kind of makes sense since they wanted to do this massive balance patch might as well just reuse teh assets of SFxT and make it feel more like a fully package. LOL I dunno to me, I'm going to get it cause I do infact play this game Competitively, but for others who play these sort of games casually I just implore them to look at this from someone like myself, it's something the game kind of needed overall in the terms of balancing.

Persona 4 Arena/climax is where its at. Arc sys is stomping on capcom with fighters right now in the only place it matters most FG game devs. Japan. the only thing that will make me happy with capcom is if they make a second TvC and not toss it on a nintendo or if they Buff ammy and nerf the fuck out of Vergil (both characters i use) zero too.. why they buffed him is beyond me.

Still though ive had more fun with persona 4 Arena than i ever had with Marvel

I'm not a huge fan of Marvel myself really, but when I talk about the current response for fighting games it really only matters over here in the states for our current affair, currently from my understanding there isn't even any plans to bring over the latest P4A over here but we'll see. I'd love to see a new TvC and put on a actual console were it would sell, but the problem to begin with that game was the licensing issues massively. But yeah, in the long run the life cycle of a fighting game over here is so reliant on the community and in the US we like our Marvel, cause we just like that stupid stuff. Anime fighters will always have a huge Cult following but yeah.

I Cant speak for street fighter because im a combo whore and love the super flashy show off combos that are in hyper fighters such as marvel and most anime fighters. I do agree though that Saying that KOF is going to out do SF is lolzy.

As for persona its currently in Arcade at the moment so them saying "no plans to release it outside of japan" is standard, they said the same thing about the original and it still release in the US (and later EU...poor bastards) i dont think there is any reason for them not to export it since Arc Sys does export regularly (i think? dont quote me on that)

capcom has repeatidly dissapointed me as a company for a long time now i no longer perchase there games. they have axed to meny things i loved in favor of the next super alpha beta gama street fighter vs marvel vs Dead riseing II game in there line up.

I actually liked SSFIV, it was a HUGE improvement over SFIII which sucked really bad, but quite frankly I'm tired of them making more and more Resident Evil with little to no difference, fans want the blue bomber, how hard is it to make a new one? They already made MM9 and MM10 use the same engine and make a new one, MM10 was so great why did they stop there? Heck they didn't even bother to make something for his anniversary.

Series like Crash Bandicott and Megaman would make much more success now that they were forgotten for some time.The problem is that the game developers don´t wanna make them because the old school fans would complain about it´s adaptation for new platforms and they don´t want to spend lots of money and time to make a decent game when they can make a shitty one and people would buy it anyway...
