unfortunatly total anarchy would benafit no one, life would be better if the people in power were forced to maintain more transparancy and a greater amount of acountability hoever. asking the leaders who claim to work for the people to actualy work FOR the people and not the mega corps like fucking viacom, wich owns everything and has spent billions on this law and it's forebearers, seems to be out of the question.

this is not about piracy XD it never has been. It's about control really. Besides we dont fight this law because we all want to be pirates, nobody is advocating theft, we fight it because the extremely broad definition of what is and is not considered copyrighted material coupled with the heavy penaltys, means you can end up in prison for airing a lets play on you tube. Anybody who cannot read this law and see how it doesent work needs to rethink a few things i think.
Besides Gabe Newl said it best when it answered the piracy issue, it's not nearly as bad as the corporations make it out to be anyway. As Gabe put it, the best way to beat the pirates is to give consumers a better service or product then what the pirates can offer.
