Update on the Ty

OKay guys, this has been a particularly hard month on me and I just want to thank everyone for their patience on my commission queue.  While it states in my TOS that I pledge to get work done within a month of starting it, I still don't like keeping people waiting for me to start pieces.  A few things came up that needed addressing in my life so I apologize for the slow going.   You've all got your slots though and since no one is complaining I'm assuming your all okay with that.

I am working has hard as I can and I'm also going through a part-time job change.  I've been looking for some time now given that I still feel the need for a regular steady paycheck (at least till the student loans are paid off) and commission work can be a fickle industry, I finally was offered a position thats a little better off than what I've been dealing with.  Though at some point in the future I'm truly hoping to do art full-time.

While I've made it a habit for the past 3 years to pretty much work on commission in all my free time including weekend to try and stay ahead of the game, I'm finding that isn't working out for my life.  Maybe I get a bit more done, but am I really?  What about quality?  I'd rather take my time on each and every piece and make it the best I can make it, with a little reassurance of that steady paycheck to keep the loan panic at bay and still get to sometimes curl up with a book or my love or even watch a movie all the way through or hell maybe play a game or two once in a while than struggle to stay awake long into the night and get work done.  I'm going to plan to work an 8-9 hour day like most people do and then focus on myself or my life in the evenings/weekends.

I guess what I'm saying is, I am committed to doing commissions but I'm not going to kill myself to do them anymore.  You and I will both benefit from that policy and in the end we'll both be happier for it.

Thanks guys for all the support you've always given me.  If it wasn't for all of you, I wouldn't be able to follow my passions like I have today.

Much love
~Ty
