First up, I want to say how sorry I am that there hasn't been a new story here for basically a year. I could give a million reasons why, but ultimately I'm letting my fans down, and that's no good at all. You deserve better, and I want to do better, and I have some serious catching up to do. Which brings me to my proposition.
I want to go to Eurofurence (which runs August 17th to August 21st this year). Money is extremely tight, which makes me stressed, and I'm not convinced I can afford to go to Eurofurence, which makes me sad. None of these things motivates me to write. I've never asked for money before, I've never asked for donations, because it's not like I'm starving or anything. It's just that I want to be able to go to Eurofurence, have an awesome time, meet my fans again.

What do you, my ever loyal fan, get out of this? Well, warm fuzzies, for one. But actually, I decided to make this much more concrete. I will post another journal spelling out exact monies and percentages, but I'd like to propose this: - If I get a third of my target amount, I will work night and day and get Chapter 16 of BITN out this month. - If I get two thirds of my target amount, I promise to get chapter 17 released in June. - If I get all of my target amount, I promise to get chapter 18 released in July.
I will force myself to write, I will flog myself, to pay you, the loyal fan, back (in words). All I need is a little motivation, and this really would help a heck of a lot. So what do you say?
