always surprises me that I have to ask to get commissions.
Not to disparage any other artist, but people are jumping and screaming over to get that one open $200 spot for some popufur. When you can really get 6-7 similar things from at close quaility usual for the same price. Personally Id rather get 7 nice pieces than 1 cool one.
But anyway. It amazes considering number of watchers, I dont have people scambling to fill every spot I offer, let alone asking for commissions which seem to be 60% of current going price at my level.
Oh well.
But seriously why aren't the cheap seats being filled....
there's 2 $10 spots in the sexpit comic, or $15 for a couple, which gets you in comic and a pinup of that frame to post so cheap $10/15 post, why isnt this snatched up?
so anyways, take if you want, eventually just move on and raise prices or sumthing lol

and I have a line up of commissions now to finish...but I tend to finish them rather quickly (xcept for animations, which I have been lazy about, which I intend to dedicate a period a day to finish, as I have a backlog now of 5 to finish....finished one tonight yay, but most of my commissions will be finished this week and then barren... and would love to have a to do list after that)
If coms aren't selling raising prices isn't a good idea... if anything you should have a sale to get commissions in then after wards everyone else who enters once the sale is over gets your normal prices. You are right though I question why people would go bankrupt over some awesome shit then commission nice quality cheap art instead... I don't get most people in this fandom but hey it is what it is <3 When I get the chance I'll commission you... that or if you'd like to be in an auction :3

well this is my thinking...i have a limited paying clientelle apparently. I am running sales continually, but lower prices do not draw people in. The only thing I seem to be doing is discounting prices for my paying fans who would pay more, but get cheaper spots due to the "sales"

What I'm getting is just because someone is a Popufur they get $1,000 thrown their way but actually that's not accureate because lots of Popufurs Don't get as much business as the next... If you continue to raise Prices People who haven't come to you may say... that's more expensive and he wanted me to get one when it was cheaper? *moves away more* If you have sales people will come more and you'll soon have popufur status People will notice you way more then they do now and you'll get coustomers to ask more until you bring them to normal prices again. the prices raise only when you're getting traffic not the opposite. Besides you're pretty decent in what you draw so even I don't see why people don't come here more

well the thing is also, I can understand if some awesome artist too charges high prices to do awesome work. But there are far too many examples of people doing crappy work or substandard work that get high prices because they are popular. I am not being jealous here, cuz hey more power to them for doing that. Its jus the people commissioning THAT. Its like yeah for what I paid, I could get 10 things that looked way better, but hey it has this artist name's attacjed, squee. And the thing is....riding coattails like that doesnt get them any more watches or views. I got a com by so and so, who cares? Just saying...and I say that for me too, people commissioning pieces from me to ride coattails? why...do it cuz u like the art and want to see more.
