Possible good news."Computer related"

I called my company "IbuyPower" and talked to their tech support, they said it sounds like my Water Cooling unit may be the only issue. They apparently only have a 2-3 year life span, and since im at the 2 year mark it would make sense. He recommend replacing it with a heat sync fan. I know they arent expensive, so i might be able to do it myself. "Not allot of experience doing it. but its better then buying a new computer. He said that sense i was still able to boot up my computer that my motherboard should be fine. I'll talk to a friend today and see if he can help me.  If all goes well then more butts will be uploaded!

Awesome news.

Some of the air coolers I've worked with are more fiddly than others to install.  A second set of paws is a good idea, just in case.  The cooler I've had the least issues with is the one I'm using right now - a lot of hours were put into making it install easily, and it shows.

As someone that has been a tech for 20+ years, used water cooling for quite a bit myself, and have experienced leaking I'd have to say that its VERY rare for you to have a leak and not have other damage. I'd watch the rest of it closely. As for adding an air cooler make double sure you get a good one rated for your cpu, and make sure you get the correct socket type. Then factor in what kind of surroundings its going to be in (air conditioning, non air conditioning, etc). Its better to have too much than not enough.

Good luck. Water cooling is nice, but compared to air cooling it's fairly expensive. If anything you could probably just go back to air cooling.
