I've seen artists who've restricted gender to make sure they don't get a pairing they don't like, so I don't think there's anything wrong with you doing so.

If you want to get a lot of money all in one shot, I'd say go for it, especially if it opens up the possibility for content that you normally wouldn't draw--more incentive, more cash.

I like these things ; 3;
tho I never have money for them, I like when I don't have to chose poses ahah

please no.   :T   it takes all the creativity out of peoples art, it really does. Most of the time with YCH the poses are generic and the situation is never interesting because the artist wants to be safe :X

Personally I cant stand YCH. Its easy money though, so I see why anyone would want to do it.

I actually have a counter-opinion for this. Many commissioners are not art-inclined, in any way. They often ask for poses such as "Standing forward doing nothing" or "I don't know, whatever is good I guess". YCH can be a good incentive to less "creative" commissioners to get a new pose they would not have thought of, as well as giving ideas to those who literally have none, and just know they want some kind of picture. The creativity of a YCH picture is up to the artist; they're not inherently more or less creative on their own.

That said, I do enjoy artists who do more than only YCH pictures, as I think most others do as well.

I will agree its good for 'commissioners' who are not so creative. I've seen ych auctions go up to 3X the price of what the picture would be for a normal commission of the same complexity. I kind of HATE artists that close commissions and just start doing these auctions to take advantage of people who want art from them. Its more common than you might think too.

YCH does have some benefits, like people who will bid insane money for art XD especially if a bid war were to start.  My only suggestion is don't have an INSANELY high priced 'autobuy' for it.

Don't make a big habit out of YCH. Go ahead and do it a few times though to see if you care for the practice.

I would say try an auction bid for it. You can start low, and if the demand is high enough it would increase the price.

I think it's a very fun thing to do, but when I see artists do nothing but YCH I tend to not respect them.  Your art is just so insanely good these days I hope you will continue you to challenge yourself!  I'm not sure where you should start at pricing, but I think it's really nice when artists put up tiers so the higher the auction goes the more detail, colour, characters, shading, etc they put into it.  That could be something to consider!

xD you could do YCH with Emma and two open slots and you'd have people killing each other to get those slots. :3 You could even make it a monthly thing.

Personally, Shouk... I think you're creative enough with poses to make that sort of auction work.

People are also right though... Putting a pre-posed Emma in and making the person she's molesting be the YCH thing? That would probably get a bit of attention.

I personally would bid on them myself, if you did start doing that sort of thing. :3

I wrote out my opinion a bit in a reply-comment above, but in short; yes! Give it a try, it can be a fun experience if you let yourself get creative with it ^_^
