understandable I like my immaturities as much as the next guy because of how close I am with Max as my fursona... but it's getting really annoying having journals go up about a good friend who got terminated :(

Word, I mean I shouldn't talk because of my recent fallout over the commission issue but it's settles now, am I stil talking about it like a child no I've moved on he moved on we're all acting like adults here... guess most people can't do the same

as far as I know Schneknul was banned because someone threaten his life and the admins favored in the abuser's direction... shock the hell out of me and doesn't sound like something Ink Bunny would do so there must be more to the story... never the less I loved scheknul like somewhat of a brother and it pained me to see so many people with hate journals about someone who's pretty much gone from their lives now :(

Actually he was banned for vilifying the person who was threatening him (the person found out which began the threats but he reported the issue to IB admins)

Apparently the issue came from a past deal in which he does some voice acting thing but the writer choose someone else and attempted to make it up for Scheknul. He refused and instead claimed the author is a scam and a cheat and began vilifying him about the situation. The author found out, threaten to kill him *and threats over the internet arent worth attention* in short. He brought it on himself.

Ironically people are celebrating ignoring the fact he's still on dA and FA and the FA admins are retards and dA admins simply tell you to block people. so unless they stay on IB they aint safe regardless LOL

Threats are against IB's rules, Schneknul was in the wrong for whatever he did but the other person was more in the wrong for threatening to kill him.
Under those circumstances alone Schneknul was provoked and at worst deserved a warning, the other person should've been banned on the spot.

Sites have been shut down for allowing that can kind of behavior in the past, at the very least it may put off companies from advertising here.
FA nearly lost their online privileges when it turned out Neer was covering for a rapist and a woman that molested her dogs.

Actually according to the story. the threat happened offsite but right after the threat the person reported the issue on IB, But I dont know all the details. The issue stem from how Scheknul was purposely vilifying this guy despite him trying to make up for it (and even offering Scheknul a secondary deal). Going as far as wanting the person to be harassed and trolled. *Possibly his rl identity revealed which means Scheknul was unfortunately an actual threat to someone's well being.* And he DID told me he knows hackers and even if it false that itself is also a threat. Ironically had Scheknul been defended. THEN the situation would be similar to Neer since the other guy was simply enraged. (and yes this is one of those moments where I cannot defend Scheknul this time)

EDIT: Thing is Scheknul actually explained the full story on FA but the journal strangely been deleted and he revealed the entire ordeal was offsite. but turns out the person was also an IB member (where the vilifying was going on which is seen as harassment)

Add to the fact there have been SEVERAL harassment reports against Scheknul which shows unfortunately he was also an actual threat and had the ordeal been ignored. Well like I said. Starling can easily be compared to Neer for allowing someone who can get rl identity against others.

Even so a ban seems harsh.
More so when I was getting openly trolled and it took more one report to get the vent art removed and then they only got banned after a second attack. (I had to bite my lip knowing if I defended myself I would get in trouble for it)
Plus I had another troll drag some drama over from SF and posted a vent piece that was clearly of my fursona and a breed of dog I used to own in a perverted setting, in case that wasn't enough to insure a ban the same troll had made call out journals on other sites explaining the so called art was an attack aimed at me.

Did the person get banned? No, did the art get removed? No..
So do I think Schneknul's punishment fits the crime? No, both parties should've been warned and the next one to start gets banned.

No see. there have been MULTIPLE reports against Scheknul. he even been suspended before. To Starling. that was a final straw. Be advised that Scheknul vilified this guy for a silly reason. He was filling out for a voice role. But the writer found someone else. Scheknul was upset however. the writer offered a whole new char just for him and only for him and kept the original deal in place. Scheknul refused. Called him scam and a cheat, attempted to get him harassed and trolled which enraged the guy a lot. The fact Scheknul was doing all this in PMs (something the admins and mods can view when ready) was the reason Starling had enough when the guy finally reported him. The fact Scheknul even knows hackers and can make the ordeal worse shows Scheknul was the real threat.

Now as for the issue with you. No clue how it was done. but if an image was posted on IB but the person claim its against you on other sites. the mods wont do much since they dont bring offsites issues here (again Scheknul was vilifying this guy hoping to get him harassed here on IB) unless it extremely necessary :c

Even friends of Scheknul proclaim he unfortunately deserved this. You may not know all the things that happened in the past but I am fully aware of what went down whenever something happened that he dont agree with which prompts him to harass people and even got away with it multiple times till now.

Gotta remember. just cos a situation you were in happened how you experienced it dont mean it will be the same for others. THat troll was in the wrong as well. But the case with Scheknul was that he did this several time. there is a reason several people here dont like him.

Ironically most of the people who dont like him are known for being severely childish (keyword most not all)

Really need to say less stuff and not a wall of text lol

What can I say, sounds like Scheknul gambled and lost?

But if I was Starling I would be worried over the hackers targeting IB as payback, FA has been hacked badly over the years just because the staff or Neer himself upset the wrong people.
Everyone was made to suffer because of their mistake at the time, lets just hope IB doesn't have any holes in its security.

Me too, I always got on with Schneknul.

That is shocking how IB could do this, me and a number of other furs turned our backs on FA for this sort of thing.
When Neer and co started throwing bans around, letting trolls run around unchecked and turning blind eye to art theft we stopped uploading and shortly after left.

If Starling isn't careful he could have the same problem.
A shame really as I always had more respect for the staff and this site.
