Hi, artists-who-are-better-than-me!
I and a friend are trying to put together a book. And a book needs a cover. And I can't draw good enough to put it on a book cover. So that's where you come in!
I am looking for artists who can draw cute sort-of-toony furry kids. Think of my art style, of Kuma-Kun's, or Mizzyam's. But I also need a good, decently realistic background. So I need someone who's skilled in both styles. Being good at Photoshop will probably help.
The cover will need to be 8x11, standard paper size. If possible, I'd also like the background to wrap around to the back cover. Like, maybe the background gradually fading to black.
I'm keeping the details vague because we kinda-sorta want to keep the project a secret for now. But I will say this: if everything works out, I might be commissioning this artist for more covers in the future.
EDIT: I hate to shut this down so soon after I started it, but I might have a winner already. I'll keep you guys informed, but my I-don't-dare-hope-for-it-because-he's-probably-too-busy dream choice has expressed interest. Squee!
