Eh...

it seems that my laptop has finally come to an end & it died, I'm unable to do anything, i have formatted the whole thing & it was the only left option i've had after trying out everything to fix out the slowness i've had recently, & even after the format, it seems things got worse & blue screens are back, (i've went to the maintenance as well, they claimed they fixed but after few days the problem got back) btw this is what i used to reformat my laptop http://www.pcworld.com/article/248995/how_to_install_w...  I'm not bothering myself with it anymore, i would rather buy a new pc desktop right now, at least this laptop has lasted good 3 years, i really don't want to waste anyone time either but i appreciate that they have took their time to fix the problem with me, including FA members, i will try to manage getting a decent pc that has reasonable prices & performance this week

anyway any recommended PC Brand? also for those who used Windows 8, how is it? is it any good compared to 7?

I've heard from friends that Windows 8 is pretty good.

But the best PC's? I know a site where you can get some pretty good ones for sale prices: www.newegg.com

Oh thanks very much for the site link, but i really didn't found what i was looking for, it didn't had many pc's though it seems to have some good & decent daily deals ^^;

i beleive the Windows 8 doesn't have a start menu right? but i don't think upgrading from 7 to 8 will affect me or make much difference, i could get used to it by time so yeah o:

On the main page, Check out the "Shop All Stores" tab and highlight "PCs and Laptops." Click on what you're looking for. (I.E: If you're looking for a Desktop PC look for "PC desktops" under the "PCs and Laptops" tab. I hope you're able to find what you want there!

As for Windows 8, It DOES have a Start Menu, but it brings up a dashboard similar to the Xbox 360 interface or the Android phones/tablets. I have tried it myself, and it probably is one big con about Windows 8 once you start to use it.

yes ive done that, but it doesn't have everything ^^;

i will still look around

& hey that seems cool, i mean why not? i have 360 so a 360 interface like isn't bad for me c:

Everybody has their opinions. To me, Toshiba is better.

the older genre toshibas i've tried have been so bad, but i'm not sure about the current ones, they probably have improved, anyhow thanks for the advice, i might look for one to get an idea :)

Either a Toshiba or a Macbook, one of those military grade macbooks, though.

Toshiba is quite nice as long you don't ever buy it in any exibitions. Buy in proper store who really can handle a claim
