That test.....I really regret only half studying for it. Still managed to pass, but it was nerve wracking the whole time. Best of luck to you!

Hehe, so I've heard. I was fortunate to study for and pass the first part of the CCNA cert in highschool, so i figure that it'll be delving back into the same pool and swimming a bit.~

I'll aim high!

I haven't done CCNA or any of the other Cisco chain certs yet. We do a lot less low level networking and a lot more deskside and Microsoft/Active Directory related stuff, so I've been looking at the MS certs for a while now. It's just hard to find the time >.<

I haven't even dug that deep yet. Now I'm scared! Luckily I'm a pretty good test taker.

The worst part of N+ in my mind though was how much of it just seems...unnecessary most of the time. It's not a very practical exam for the most part. Most of it is so abstract that you never touch on it anymore.

I thought about taking the tests once, but they never fancied me any.  So I relegated myself to fixing the machines when they break.  Learned a lot about imaging and deployment that way -- a lot of trial and error, getting it right, etc.  Seven is easier to deploy than XP and I really like the PE/WIM system.  Gives me so much authority over the systems I'm trying to fix, particularly when the person doesn't give me their passphrases.
