Squirrels: They're cute little troublemakers who are a lot of fun to watch as they scurry about, and anthro squirrels are pretty damned sexy.
Mice: One of my very favorite species, right up there with rabbits and foxes. There was even a time when I considered making my avatar character a mouse. One of the best characters I ever created is a mouse hybrid and she has a special place in my heart. Real or anthro, I just wanna cuddle and pet them.
Rabbits: I suppose it goes without saying that I love them to bits. I have a slight preference for wild rabbits over the domestic breeds, but they're all awesome. Because I'm totally biased, I think they deserve more respect than they get.

It's a long, dull, complicated story. Suffice it to say it's because my first proper avatar character was a rabbit, and I just fell in love with them. Granted, it helps that rabbits have long been associated with trickster heroes, too. That, and those lovely, long ears.
As for "the stereotype", I suppose that depends on how you look at it. Megan is certainly a huge flirt and I won't deny that it's lots of fun to explore her sexuality. But, in real life, I'm nowhere near as open about it. Or anything like as sexy.
