So in light of the RIDICULOUS number of faves and watches I got from the following pic, I have decided that little Miss Piper deserves some love.
Piper is 5, and lives with her older brother, Nathan, and his girlfriend, Valerie. She has no idea what sex is, so she won't answer any questions about that topic. Her favorite possession is her plush, purple dragon, named Estrid.

Since work is causing me to miss most of TMI Tuesday, and I have Wednesday off, I am extending this session through Midnight Eastern tomorrow.

I'm still finding out about my Nafan an' Valawee, but they're weally nice. I love them both alweady. Nafan and Valawee have horsies, named Ah-patchee and Shy-anne, and they bought me a pony! Her name is Sundance. Nafan is strong, and he likes to throw me high up in the air and catch me. He does something called land scraping. Miss Valawee is a pee-dee-uh-trishin. That means she's a doctor for cubs, like me.

It's nice having a nice doctor like Miss Valawee around. And Nafan is so big and strong, too! He'd never let me get hurt, and if I ever did, she would make it better. I feel weally safe with them.

Quinn beams down at the puppy before her, then crouches so that she is at eye level with Piper. She sets to work at making her fingers blur across the surface of her tablet, then she holds it underneath her chin so the little girl can see both her face and the screen. Her expression is an almost motherly smile as she taps one last time to begin a feminine voice reading off the text displayed on the screen. "Hello Piper. My name is Quinn. This is how I talk. Can you read along with the words on this screen as I speak to you this way?"

"Want to know a secret, sometimes I find this voice is kind of silly, too." Quinn mimes a giggle. "But, I have to talk like this because I am different. It is okay, though, because everybody has something that makes them different, and that is what makes it so much fun to learn about new people. So, you should not laugh at someone for being different, because if everybody was the same, it would be really boring." Quinn mimes another giggle.

After Quinn finishes with her little lesson and walks away, Ashton comes up to her in private, saying, "You were so cute with that kid... You'll make a great mother someday..." After a long pause, he adds, "If you weren't dating someone right now, I would totally jump your bones!" Quinn's expression is half annoyed, half flattered as she types her response, and she jumps to the side a bit as if at an imaginary grope from her brother, "Stop it. You know even saying something like that is dangerously close to breaking our rules. You know better." Ashton replies with a simple "Sorry" and they walk off to each do their own thing. The last thing Ashton wants to do is get in the way of a serious relationship. He just has self-control issues when it comes to Quinn sometimes.
