well i made it....45 min bus ride to pittsburgh...got there, stored my luggage at amtrak, made the mistake of taking my tote bag with me (it weighed like 20 lbs or so? maybe 25) but it had my snacks, some pens, and some sammiches I made to bring in a minicooler. I had to lug it everywhere, including going up a lot of flights of stairs, some I didnt have to go up
the maps at the con were horrible. The event listings would say an event was in the puppetorium, so look at map, no such place, so where is it? plus I had to stay up till 5am to catch the train.
Went to the zoo for the last 4 hours and did sketches and did a few in exchange for sodas from people, heheh
Caugh the train, had to take the computer out of the luggage as it weighed too much. They said that was considered a carryon, so had to check my 2 suitcases. So 7 hours to washington DC, got there at 2pm. 5 hour layover, so checked my carryone stuff, for $30 ripoff, and then walked around DC taking pics of everything, going in the smithsonian museums, and looking for satanic symbolism lolz. Only thing I found was the 3 steps of the federal reserve had 6 stars on each step, 6-6-6 DUN DUN DUN!
So was fun, but walked from amtrack to capital, down to lincoln memorial and then back other side, felt like 10 miles or so. It was like 85 degrees out, so felt really worn out even with buying some water to drink. I jumped up on a ledge to rest once and my feet started immediately cramping up... BONITIS!
So back on amtrak, which kinda sucked. They put us in last car, which shook more than the others did. I got in first seat WITH NO WINDOW! also the loud speaker didnt work in our car so we didnt know anything that was going on unless someone came and told us. We HIT something at aroun 5am...maybe an animal? dunno, but it delayed train 2 hrs, making it almost a 24 trip, everyone was ready to jump out the windows to get off.
So am now in florida, yay
Bad news....THEY LOST MY LUGGAGE! All my clothes, all my computer parts, monitor to mousepad, and even my drawing tablet is in them. No fresh undies after 3 days...so going commando tomorrow. I really hope they find them, i think they'll UPS them directly to the house when found, so hope they find them and nothing's broken in them
so that's my weekend adventure
commissions/comics are on hold for a few days till i hopefully get my tablet back. if not I think they insure them for $250 per bag, which means i can replace computer stuff, but lost a lot of clothes, sucks
on to the crazy stuff, when i get little sleep, I sometimes get creative...one idea I thought up was to make a comedic furry zodiac, compete with symbols, descriptions, and constellations
The one I thought of for canines is the butt sniffer. The one for fox is a smaller version, but with a red star in its crotch called "the knot" in latin of course when I look that up, cuz well, he's a fox.
If I do it, what other animals should I include?
