Anthrocon 2013

As another Anthrocon comes and goes, I am left feeling very happy.  It was a lot of fun seeing all my friends and making a few more.  So here’s a little run down on how my weekend went.

My pal, Gamma, and I met up at the NYPenn station pretty early.  It was his first Anthrocon and he was pretty excited.  Neither one of us got much sleep the prior night.  It was a fun ride.  Nothing lets time fly by like Mel Brooks movies and sketching silliness (annoying porter puns aside).  I got to draw sleaze without attracting the watchful gaze of the Amish.  We got to the hotel at around 8:30 or so.  But we were too tired to do much, so we crashed after a pizza run got us lost in the fireworks crowd.  I have a terrible sense of direction, but I find the coolest stuff.

Friday was all about hooking up with friends.  Gamma had yet to meet kaemantis, lizsan, ebonyleopard, and Kayla, and I was glad to introduce.  They hit it off well.  I placed a few commissions, and bought some swag from Chakatwindshear and hir crew.  AGAIN, Shi taunted me with smut and naughty ideas!  Again!  Will I ever learn to resist?!  Obviously not any time soon.  We got to hit the Fish Market and I got to taste that great roasted chicken (I have a simple pallet).  I made a few new friends and will definitely be adding them to my watch list.  When we got tuckered out, it was back to the hotel for cartoon and MST3K marathons.  Gamma brought Geronimo Stilton cartoons!  Do you KNOW how much hentai potential is in this stuff?!  Underwear modeling, bondage, hypnosis, kidnapping, costumed heroics.... SO MUCH!! X3~~~ Thea is my favorite character and I swear to draw ungodly amounts of porn of her.  Did not enjoy Trap.  When he was tied up by the python, I hoped the snake would do us all a favor and end him.  I know cartoons need a bumbling half-wit, but he abuses the privilege.

Saturday was our last day only because the only Sunday train we could book was ungodly early.  More fun was had petting a tiny pony and enjoying the many creative fursuits in the parade.  I tried to hunt for a few extra commissions for a friend, but tho se came up negative.  So what could I do???  Well here is the fun part.  While I was walking around I noticed a ton of cabs advertising a exotic club called “Blush”  I’ve never been, but who am I to just ignore 6 or 7 cabs.  So I went.  It was a cheap cover charge compared to the New York strip clubs I visit, and in no way lessened.  The experience was great.  On the off chance they somehow read this, I wanna say thanks to Kendra and Julia for the fantastic time they gave me that night.  It was too bad I had to leave so early the next day.  I will have to schedule my next trip so I have plenty more time to enjoy the curvy nudity and kindness.  The drinks were not watered down, and there were many types of ladies (wispy to Rubenesque) .  A buffet of beauty, if you will.  I will certainly be going back, and will probably drag a few friends into the depravity with me.

Anthrocon ends pretty much as it begins, with me tired on a train  (except these bathrooms are broken, and you can smell EVERYTHING!!!!  TT^TT).  I, as always, had a great time and am glad I did not scare Gamma too much.  I’m gonna take a few minutes rest before I get back to drawing the wall of smut that comprises my commissions.  Again I wanna say thank you and be safe to all my friends.  I’ll see you all soon with more crazy plots and good cheer.  Hopefully I’ll be there as a vender of swag.  I have sooooooo many ideas for things!
