Im a gamer too but I had to save to customize my gaming laptop so I can take it anywhere I go.
based on the Desktop specs I think its worth it because you can always upgrade
the things you want later.

I would recommend you upgrade the:

- Dual Core to a Quad Core for more multi-tasking power if your going to use
heavy memory applications like Video editing programs & other things like that.

I will look into how much more that will tack onto the price, but if ti's too much i can't cause i barely get any money as it is, and with people lacking in the wanting to order commissions or even bother with my auction, its gonna take me forever as it is with the help im getting of $100/month from my buddy.

I looked into it and it added $33 to it and thats with keeping everything else, i can lose the keyboard and mouse and it will bring it to $748

i took out the monitor, keyboard and mouse, as i still have those from when my old tower was stolen and it dropped the price down to $618.99.

A GeForce 8400? You're going to have a pretty hard time playing anything more intensive than Team Fortress 2 with that. The GeForce 8400 gs was a budget card in 2007. Surprising they still even make them.

what should i upgrade it to then?

Dunno, but almost anything would be better than a card that cost $20 back in 2007.

This article might helps. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-ca...

You probably mean a GTX660, not 66. 660 is a good card, but it's probably going to cost around $200.

$230 but yeah, it's gonna take me a crap ton of commissons, or a LONG time. and considering no one seems interested in commissions from me, im kinda stuck at the latter

See if you can get one of the cheaper cards that was on that article. Even the cheapest one listed would be about 3 million times better than a GeForce 8400. You could also downgrade the RAM back to 4 gigs. RAM is much cheaper to upgrade than a video card, since you wouldn't need to actually throw anything away.

thank you and i was wrong it's $624. i would ask for donations but it would go ignored and people don't give without wanting something in return.
