Well, that's an interesting question. Laws are there for lots of reasons, even the ones we don't like. Of course, like anyone, I have my own idea of how to make the world a better place for me (which definitely doesn't mean it will be better for everyone)
I don't know enough about laws to give specifics of the ones I would change so I'll just give general ideas...
1-Lift bans on recreational drugs. Let people fuck their own brains in any way they want. And also take the power away from the criminals who control the trade now. Only punish drug users if they go driving around stoned (as we do now with booze)
2-Let people have all the hand guns they want for personal defense or for fun or for whatever they want. Violence doesn't come from objects, it comes from our primate brains. Instead of banning guns we should educate people to use them responsibly.
3-Let people have abortions if they want. I'm not particularly fond of abortion... but I'm even less fond of bringing unwanted people into an already overpopulated planet. If some people are too stupid to manage simple contraception, chances are their offspring will inherit their low intelligence and be a burden for the rest of us.
4-Eliminate any laws that try to force an artificial "equality" on people. Many laws push down the gifted under the pretense of helping the "less fortunate" and at the end the result is the institutionalization of mediocrity. Let society follow the laws of nature: survival of the fittest. That doesn't mean trowing the dim-witted down a cliff, of course.. but don't give high school diplomas to illiterates either. For the world to function there has to be both rocket scientists and garbage pickers.
5-Depenalize human cloning. The reasons to ban cloning are all ridiculous like "we should not play God". Well, if you can't play God what's the point of being a scientist in the first place? Let science explore the limits of our own nature. Every single invention from the automobile to the two headed dildo were called evil at first and eventually proved useful for something.
