Any one else think...

...the Midwest should have more than just Midwest Furfest since that convention is so late in the year, it's hard to take off work or school for that. I think we should have a con in early August or late July here in the Midwest.

call me crazy, but is Ohio in the Midwest? Because if it is then Ohio has a ohayocon which is the largest convention in ohio, it has an attendee count of about 12 thousand people in 2012. It's in January, but yes, we need more cons year round.

We need a summer con. One people can get off work for. I mean I know AnthroCon is a summer con but we need one in Missouri or somewhere in the middle of the US. And yes, Ohio counts as Midwest to me.
