yeah anytime I try to save an image from the "download" or "max preview" links from FA or IB it just says "this file contains a virus and has been deleted" .

Sounds like your Antivirus database may have corrupted.  Have you tried to reinstall it?

From the sound of things you're not running an antivirus software (they don't come on computers, you have to manually install them and update them regularly). Without them, you definitely have some form of virus or corruption from the internet. Almost every click you make on the net is a potential infection & once they're in your system deep enough sometimes the only solution is a hard drive wipe. Install an antivirus program & let it update & run itself. The initial process will take a long time, possibly hours. But it's a necessary process of online access.

Microsoft Security Essentials is FREE :D made by Windows for Windows. I use it and everything works fine. I'd look into installing it, because this problem seems to be on your end. Also, have you tried a restart of your computer?

Reboot into safe mode before downloading/installing. That might stop a potential virus deleting antivirus installers.

I've actually had this problem, not just inkbunny stuff (anything I tried to download on IE claimed it had a virus and was automatically deleted. however when I used safari I didn't have this problem), and a few other weird issues with chrome and search engines that popped but the other day. I pretty much spent the entire day looking up how to fix it and people have told me it pretty much boils down to either malware (for the downloads and search engine problem) or the date and time of your computer is incorrect (only if you are having certificate errors in chrome like me :P ) and told me to download both (all free) Avast! (most recommended), which helped with all my problems for now and is a really good free anti-virus program, and Spybot Search and Destroy, which helped a bit for searching for a few rootkit. Again it could be your search engine, so I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling. And if that doesn't work, use a different internet browser. And don't use microsoft security essentials, it sucks.
