Camping trip!

My family is pretty spontaneous.

And they'll use any excuse to have a Bar-B-Q or a picnic.

My brother came home and said plainly, to my father, "Lets go camping."

Dad looks up and replies. "Aight."

And so it was decided that they shall go away camping this weeks end.

Now, I don't mind camping. In fact, with the right people, I rather enjoy it.

But I don't want to go camping because it's hot and I'd like to stay home alone with my peace and quiet for two days while my family goes about doing what they do.

But that also means I won't have a ride to town for free wifi.

To those of you who have commissioned me, I will have your work done by Monday at the earliest!

Also; I'd like to thank everyone who favorites and watches all my work. It's you guys that push me to improve and keep drawing and getting better. Thank you.

I really need to go camping someday myself, been nearly 3 decades since I've been camping. hope you have fun man in what ever choice you make.

We go camping a lot.

Hell, we live in the damn woods. Just being at home is like camping.

I haven't been camping since I lived in Missouri. About 15 or so years ago. And I mean real camping. No tents. Make your own shelter. Only allowed to bring a knife and sleeping bag.

That's like survival camping.

I go with a group of people that do that every year.

I like how, for under $50, I can put tent, groundsheet, airmattress, shovel, pump, extra sheet, wash line, bucket, lights, batteries, charger, first aid kit, pillow, sleeping bag, bog roll, and other bits, all in the heavy duty bag I usually use for shopping.

The tents only really good for keeping the rain off due to having a 6 inch vent in teh top. At 15 mph plus its pretty draughty.

Was last year on a dense wood with deep pine needle floor a couple miles away for a 2 day LARP.

Very likely the only time Ill get to use the gear.

I've been camping a few times and can honestly say its not for me. I'd much rather spend my time where there's an internet connection and a chance to write stories as well as read stories posted by others. Small discussions and emailing. Camping out in the woods on occasion isn't out of the question but in all honesty, I'd rather at least go to a cabin by the lakeshore.

Still, hope you'll have a good time and enjoy your private time there to the fullest!
