Pee words!

by
Quick version: I'm wondering what you all called your pee when you were cubs!

Nishi
Nishi
had a cool fun journal about the words ya used for your naughty parts!

I mostly said peepee as a kid, at least when I didn't say penis!

It got me thinkin', though, since as Nishi noticed, sometimes people say peepee when they mean pee, as in urine, rather than when they mean guys' special parts! And I think I prolly also used "peepee" to mean tinkles too, and so it's sorta ambiguous between meaning pee and penises.

So anyway, ta follow up on his question about words for genitals, what did you folks call your pee when they were kids? What do you call it now? D'you have any favorite words? Probably most people said/say pee, which is neat! I like that word! And I'm also curious if anyone had any unusual or different words for it too!

*giggles* Curious lil foxies wanna know!

Hehe, those're good, solid words for sure! I think I'm a "pee" person, so I'm with ya there! And "piss" could be extra naughty too, even if I'm sorta silly and tend to use the more cubbish ways of saying it. :)

In spanish we call peeing or pee: pipi or orinar or mear or miarse

Hehe, those're all great words! Pipi is all extra cute, and some especially useful Spanish vocab! X)

Hehe, aw, it's neat to see a similar sorta journal! :D
Hm, I think we mostly just said pee. I'm sure we talked about it often enough too and that's all I remember. Maybe whenever my nephews pee in our bushes someone says they're watering plants. 8D And I know people joke about apple juice and lemonade being pee sometimes, but I guess that's about all I experienced!

Hehehe, I figured it could be a fun variation! I like the idea for sure! I think you're right, most folks just say "pee!" I did, and it seems like an easy, typical, and still cute way of sayin' it! Hahaha, I remember people talkin' about me watering the plants too when I sued ta do that, so that's an extra cool thing! X3 And lemonade is a cute way to refer to it too! :D I like the association between it and a yummy drink for sure! :)

I was a science savvy when I was a kid. I called it "urina" (urine). When I was even younger, I would say "xixi" (pee), rarely "pipi" (wee). As I grew, I also began using "mijo" (piss).

<LAUGHS>  "Mijo" (and mija) is slang where I live for close family members.  I think it's a contraction of "Mi hijo."  XD

"Mija" here is verb.:3
Eu mijo (I piss)                                   Nós mijamos (we piss)
Você mija (you piss)                          Vocês mijam [you (plural) piss]
Ele ou ela mija (he or she pisses)   Eles ou elas mijam [they (male) or they (female) piss]

Hehehee, awesome.  <3

Even more interesting, I swear I have an instrument downstairs called a "xixi."  Are you brasileiro, or continental?  :-]

*giggles* I'm glad ya have names for your instruments downstairs! X) Hahah, but "mijo" and "xixi" both sound like they have some fun ambiguities! X)

Hehe, yay, s'more great words! Xixi is a really interesting one, I dunno if I've heard of that, but it seems cute like pipi too! I think sometimes I might've tended toward those more "scientific" words when I was older too, though I definitely had a phase of callin' it pee!

I called it pee when I was a kid, and I still call it pee. I never really cared for the word piss very much though.  As for the organ it comes from, I used to call it my peener, peter or wiener.

Hehe, same here! I'm most into the sorta cuter words for things! The others seem a lil angrier, and different from the actual feelings I associate pee with. You've got some good words for parts too!

I generally prefer to use cuter and less harsh-sounding words for things.  I'll use yiff or boink instead of using the more popular F-word. I use poop or poo instead of saying shit. The main exception is when I'm in a discussion where I'm using it as a example.  I'm actually offended when some people feel the need to swear in nearly every sentence they speak. Some of them swear with pride, and I'm not talking about the cute words. They say words like slut, cunt, fuck, bitch, etc, usually loudly and in as degrading of a tone as possible. They can't seem to get a sentence out without being as offensive as possible  It's even worse when they use certain words to refer to people, such as those who refer to women as whores, or as female body parts. That turns me off to a person really fast, as it reveals just how little respect they have for women, and likely for anyone else.

Ok, this one is probably silly enough and I'm the only one who's ever heard of it.

I was introduced to the phrase "draining the lizard", which means to pee. I would call my penis the "lizard" and my pee the "lizard juice". This only lasted until I was around four or five, I definitely stopped by the time kindergarten started.

Hahah! I've definitely heard of "draining the lizard," though drawing out the metaphor and naming each part after it is a neat idea too! I think I like that better than the whole phrase itself, actually, so that's definitely a cool idea! X)

I think I always said pipi (which would be the german version of peepee) for both urine and penis. I guess mom or dad or whoever could tell what I was refering to due to contacts or the way I acted or, I dunno, maybe I pointed at it to or so, I don't know xD
today I usually go with penis and pinkeln (tinkle), I just love that word (btw, both the English and German)

"Pipi" sounds like it works in Spanish, Portuguese, and German now! And at least in German refers to the part too, so that's sure good to know! X) I'm sure doing the potty dance could let folks know which one ya meant! X) I love tinkle too, and it's great ta know the German equivalent too! :D

After I'd had a lot more contact with other kids among family friends and relatives, I started to use the general consensus among them which was "pee". Before then, I was taught it as "fizz-fizz" as onomatopoeia for the sound it makes in the potty.

Oddly, though my parents taught my brother and I "proper" anatomical terms for our genitalia, they didn't seem to think the same proper...ness... was necessary for urine or feces.

When I was a cub, I called my genitals my oolie(not sure of proper spelling here), I think that may have been a Hawaiian slang term or something. I grew up in Washington state, but I was born in Hawaii and my parents picked up a lot of Hawaiian pidgin before they moved to Washington. Not sure. I also sometimes called it my peepee, ding-dong, dingaling and thingy.

Urine was often called peepee or just pee. Also weewee. Although I never used weewee to refer to my penis, I seem to recall other kids calling their penis a weewee sometimes.

When I was very young, it was "peepee" (both as a verb and a noun).
When I got a little older (say, kindergarten age), it was shortened to just "go pee" or "pee".
Often, we just said we "have to go (or went) to the bathroom".
Some of my friends said "take a whizz" or "whizz", so I used it when around them.
My best friend in elementary school said "number one"... I didn't know what he meant by that at first, until I asked him and he explained it to me.

Now, among my friends or family (informal), we say "pee".
When I want to be formal, I will say "urine" or "urinate".
And I'm aware of  "drain the lizard", although that was only since 1999 when I first heard about Sobe beverages, and their lizard theme.  "Drain the lizard" was one of the sayings under the bottle caps.  But generally I'll only say this when I've been drinking beer and need to urinate copiously and frequently.

"Piss" I almost never use; my mother considered it vulgar.  I might use it in the expression "piss like a racehorse".

I may have used "wee wee", but I probably said "potty" as well. I bet I used "pee" as well. I sorta still do with people I'm comfortable with.
