Behold Sir BunnyCub Slayer of cellphones

Greetings gentle furs.

It seems I have developed a super power... I can kill a cell phone at 20 paces.

I have had a cell phone for close to a year now when it finaly just died

It would work when plugged into the wall but would hold no charge.  we assumed it was a battery issue and they sent a replacement.  It worked for 3 days then poof the same exact problem...  so I called back and they replaced the phone... right out of the box it was having the same issue, so they sent another battery...  that battery when used in the replacement phone lasted for 5 days and two phone calls  before dieing in the exact same way an hour again.

there is only one logical  conclusion... I am the reincarnation of magneto and my budding mutent powers have been channeling my cell phones with EMP bursts.

that can be the only solution...

this post while the problem is true is also the reason I shouldn't post messages while fevered and tired and barely ambulatory

Eh sounds like theres something wrong in the power consumption of the phone and it's jsut using up and not charging the batteries properly.

Hmm have you used a different charger? Might be a faulty charger then burning out the batteries. Possibly even the outlet if you use the same outlet everytime.

turns out to be this, which is weird cause I tested it in two outlets with 3 different chargers..  Oh well

Sounds like an shit phone to me. Is it an motorola? Those usually stink IMO. Heh. Plus, refurb phones FTL, wouldn't surprise me if when they worked on the phone they sent you they didn't fix all the issues, usually don't. Maybe ask for an discounted upgrade since multiple phones have had the issue, worth an shot IMO.

I rather like it Its got loads of extras I don't even touch..  but it has the only thing I cared about a full keyboard.  I barely ever make calls since my mate can't realy talk at work but we can usauly find time to text

could be a defect in the design also if it was an EMP every electronic device around you would cease to work including the computer you used to post this

I have never been able to get a good signal with my phones, even using the exact model on the same network in the same places as family members. Not quite as bad as breaking them, but I kinda see what you mean. My stepdad had a close relative who couldn't use watches (though they weren't made the same back then), because he had enough electricity or magnetism or something in him that it interfered with the inner workings of them. The human body runs off of electricity and with the degree of sensitivity some computerized devices have nowadays, it's not a stretch that one might carry enough of a charge to short a miniature circuit.

This isn't actually the first time I've heard of this, and similiar things.... like problems with wrist watches, creditcards getting constantly messed up..... Eiko was pretty much right on it, with how the human being is electrical.... If you want I could find the articles that talked about it, and what the people did to try and get by it. Let me know k.
