No comments to my offer of commissions, I could understand. It was expected, I guess.
But not one answer to my offer of *free* stories? Owwww. That stung. Stings.

You were all, in your indifferent, dead silence, very honest. I'm trying to see this as a positive. Your honest silence tells me that in order to accomplish anything as a writer, I need to actually *write stuff you care about*.
I've been scared to look at IB and see the absolute lack of responses. But I need to be brave, and man up, and write. I can't wait for you to tell me what you want to read: I need to be proactive, and do the work. So, the contest remains open, if any you want to give me suggestions about what to write. But I'll write anyway.
Just as soon as I stop wincing from this stinging shame.
