Story Updates/Announcements

Some of you may be wondering what's up with my Bat & Cat storyline, and if I will ever be returning to my Ethan storyline.

The Bat & the Cat chapter 7 is nearly 40% complete. You may recall mention of a planned trip to Colorado. I was planning a crossover with

Cormenthor

, but an unfortunate set of circumstances have befallen my friend, and he is not around to collaborate on this endeavor. I had to take some time and think about where I wanted things to go instead. Ross and Megan's trip to CO is postponed indefinitely until

Cormenthor

's return.

Ethan's story is still continuing, and that next chapter is also close to 40% complete.

I have another story, focusing on The Hutcheson family (I recently adopted a horse, named Juno. I introduced her big sister, Janine, in earlier Ethan chapters). This one is only about 10% complete.

Both the Ethan story and the Hutchesons will set the stage for a wonderful collaboration with

Jacinth

, before she leaves for deployment. Keep your eyes peeled for those.

Also, I apologize to all for my recent lack of progress. I took the latter end of May to recharge my batteries after a rough Spring semester, and to enjoy some time with my family. I used to stay up until late in the night working on homework and writing, but beginning in June, I will be using my weekday mornings, before work, and my weekdays off, to write. Expect more stories soon!

Recharged batteries are good, the end of semester tore me up but I'm headed right back in with summer classes, blarg. Can't wait to see more from you and good to know what's going on. Hope Cormentor is alright, horrid set of circumstances that..

Thank you, it means a lot to me reading that. I get a lot of praise and comments from my friends and collaborators on here, and while I don't doubt their sincerity, I wonder if the feedback would still be given if not for the association. Hearing from a watcher that I do not have a collaborative relationship is refreshing. Thank you for taking the time to say something.

It's a bittersweet time in my stories. There are a lot of changes coming, and I am excited for what the future holds. I'll be losing an old friend, but gaining a new one I have admired from afar for awhile. This character trade is exciting, and I look forward to seeing how a different writer handles my creation.

Like I mentioned when I changed my name from Steelpenguin, when I made the name, I had full intentions of just being a lurker. Now that I am an active writer and commissioner of the sexy fur arts, I'd rather not be associated with any one particular species. Also, I have almost one-hundred characters, and none of them are penguins. Do I plan on making one? No. It was just a nod to my favorite hockey team. If I did have a sona, it wouldn't be a penguin, either.
