yes, this is a semidrunken one too, so expect THANGS....BIG THANGS
ok moving muh BIG THANG outta the way for a second...YUSH JUST A SECOND, MUHAHHA
Just wonderin's why Imma not moar popufur? aka popular.
I dont seem to get the favs/comments/watches that others do.
I hardly reach even the gratis 10% fav/view level, when others exceed that for mediocre work.
I continually pump out comics that are at the least interesting.
Someone was criticizing a Yiffox adventures the other day (in a negative manner) as basically pyschodelic which I am highly flattered by considering its a humor strip going into #224 and my self criticizism on it is that I may have lost that flavor ? which I want to return to, a true wtf comic (hopefully the end of the matrix saga will redeem what I feel is humorless retelling lately, ugh, altho it did feel good to kill the architect, yay)
Imma churning comics out by the bunghole load. (yeah picture that beetches, yeah I just put THAT thot into your head MUHAHHAHA) What's odd is that the one with the most inane storyline and just a porn comic (tribal dance) is the most popular. While the most innovative but no pronz, yiffox, is the least. Sexpit which falls inbetween, also falls inbetween in popularity. It saddens me, as its replacement, which will be less sex and almost entirely cool storyline, no idea how popular that will be and even if it will be worth doing? that greatly saddens me, as its gonna lean more toward yiffox in humor and the most heavily storylined one, ie an actual comic.
I have yet to break into the top 100 watched here, ( I need some 80 more watchers) but its more the lack of favs and comments that gets me Most submissions have almost no comments. Been that way for my entire stay here. and the fav level is really low.
Yet I continually have half my items present in the top 100 viewed here. I generally have 2-6 places in the top viewed, and this is week after week for the last 2 years. So my only conclusion is people are looking but going meh....no fav or comment worthy. Odd as they keep looking.
Other than my art being total crap, as if so, why would they look, the only thing I can surmise is its too experimental? I draw everything, in multiple styles. I continue to do things differently. A lot of artists seem (and this is just an observation/guess) to get popular doing ONE thing. They draw a limited number of characters well in a defined set of styles, so people into those characters flock to them. Say sonic or MLP the 2 biggest kids on the block. Yes I draw them, but I draw everything I can. But hardcore fans might seem to want to watch exclusive artists of their particular artfetish instead of me which occasionally draws them. Yush you draw what I like 10% of the time, but the other 90 pics I go meh...
so thats muh rant...i think you guys want uniformity and the same stuff over and over again and dont like change.
or it could be some of you dont like my recent greater attention to politics and shouting about it. It's strange someone actually made a fake account to post on a page asking for people to join a comic calling me a conspiracy nut. This I find sad and annoying. I am NOT a conspiracy nut. I dont believe in aliens. Dont believe JFK was killed by a cabal. Dont believe 9/11 was a setup, altho I do think they may have known about it beforehand do to a lot of coincidences (My theory there is that history shows quite literally that just like in kidnapping cases, you suspect the family first, in "national crises" you should really suspect the government first, as historically that's usually who did it....ESPECIALLY when those in power gain something they want from the crisis or they use the crisis to cover up bad news or pass unfavorable legislation unnoticed -- the list of this actually happening is endless...Maine explosion, Gulf of Tonkin, Reitchstag bombing, 1993 world trade center bombing, etc <---and only the first wasnt set up by the governments involved historically. Our own FBI (1993 and others) & CIA (gulf of tonkin) are known for causing events. so lotsa crazy stuff going on thats historical fact, and i only believe the facts, suspicious of the others, but only believe facts. Like thing 9/11 was at least known about as the day before Rumsfeld came out and said the pentagon lost trillions of dollars...LOST....anyone ever hear of it? no? wonder why? next day BOOM....i think the banking failure is also a scam as all the big banks made money off of it and they put one of the guys responsible in charge of the fed, Geithner., and they were all in profits immediately after the collapse as most had bet against it -- and yes the crisis was caused entirely by congress allowing banks to do crazy things and even encouraging them) What troubles me and why I have violated my longstanding rule about talking about these things, is congress seems hellbent on passing laws violating the bill of rights. why? law after law totally violates rights and i dont think most of our representatives follow their oath to uphold the constitution. What's sad is a lot of people agree with them. The bill of rights was formulated for a simple reason. To make sure that the government they were setting up didnt do the same travesties of freedom that caused the revolution. They had just fought that war, so they really did not want to fight it again. What did the British do? Our sad history classes in the US teach taxation without representation, but dont really teach what that meant.
so history lesson, going off topic, cuz I'm a conspiracy nut MUAH, so here is what that MEANT.
1. the gov decided to use us as a source of revenue rather than free citizens
2. they were willing to violate long standing rights to get that money
3. they took away our money, ie only british money was good, and local currencies were made illegal
4. they took away our freedom of trade, and only goods from Britain were allowed (at a higher cost)
(these 2 things caused a depression in the US, our first, yet they went further)
5. to support these laws, only items stamped by the british were legal and places could be searched for restricted items with a self written warrant by the soldiers. Any items without stamps could be seized by said soldiers (origin of 4th amendment no search without judge approval and probable cause/seizure)
6. the king decided to send our state legislates home in some places like New york and just rule by an appointed governor (no representation - sides not having any representation in London)
7. We had to house the soldiers and feed them (3rd Amendment)
and so on, each right was meant to address violations that the british actually did.
What is really really sad is we have passed laws to violate almost all of these rights.
How many know that the patriot act allows the feds to write their own warrants without a judge like the british did? How many in the last 10 yrs? only about 200,000....but its for our safety...even worse the law says you cant even talk about the warrant or tell the person its targeted at.
Obama thinks he can kill US citizens overseas without a trial, trial by drone and who cares about collateral human damage. Someone had to filibuster Congress for him to clarify if he could do this on US soil, really??? FDAA 2012 says he can (vaguely) imprison US citizens without trial indefinitely if they are opposed to the US government. There is bullshit stuff saying this does not add additional powers to the prez, but that doesnt deny he didnt have the power to do that already....people have said it doesnt say that directly, but one must look at context. IRS targeting groups that support the constitution? um huh? Police invading people's homes illegally and denying them their right of free movement in a "voluntary" at gunpoint Boston lockdown. Protests basically declared illegal and a felony recently at almost all federal sites or near any federal politician based on if secret service says so. And this is just scratching the surface like wiretapping, invasions of privacy, etc.
So yes, seems to be a trend to get rid of civil rights. If you dont see this, I can give a list of laws....going back 80 yrs, but its rapidly increased in last 12. Disturbingly so. We are now declaring people who support the bill of rights as potential terrorists. Really?
so yush, Imma conspiracy nut, because I'm a potential terrorist for supporting the bill of rights. Yet I'm so much a terrorist that I dont kill the beetles that enter my residence, but carry them outside, such is my irrational respect for life.
but back on point...what do you think....if you actually read through this...is it cause I draw too much, im a nut, or do i just suck, lolz
