Sudden Power Loss Makes Artwork Fun

First off, something good.  Obviously, I've been much more productive with my artwork lately, and I absolutely want to thank everyone who's watched me and continued to give me feedback.  I've always drawn out of genuine enjoyment, but you people are the reason I've begun pushing myself so hard.

So, onto today's events.  Set up my tablet, start working on a new comic strip.  I figure I'll do a couple more of these and then get back to some requested pictures that I've had on the back burner for far too long.  Typically, my previous comics have only taken a couple of hours to finish, but today, I'm working on a somewhat ambitious comic which features a small crowd scene (about 11 characters altogether).  After three hours of sketching, line work, and coloring, a sudden power shortage comes along (which almost never happens here).

Nothing saved.  Have to start over from scratch.  Think I'll go take a few deep breaths and distract myself for a while before coming back to it.  Might work on the same comic, might just work on something else instead.

Brutal.  That reminded me of something I saw twenty years ago.  Maybe it will make you feel better.  http://youtu.be/WbuyuXnb8qM
