My brother's girlfriend was having some problems last week, and her baby went into distress. She and my brother were rushed away to a general hospital sixty miles from my home where they induced labor and my niece was born.
Due to the fact that the mother is a drug addict, and smoked two packs of cigarettes a day, the baby was five weeks premature and weighted little more than four pounds. She was born with jaundice, but the doctors say that she'll be fine.
They might be bringing her home either today or tomorrow. So naturally that caused quite a sensation in the family given that they're living with / off us and my parents are attached to their grand children.
I'm just happy she's alive and well. Her name is pronounced SHY-ANNE but I have no fucking idea how they decided to spell it. It's like Chayene or something like that. My brother and his girlfriend are weird.
One other update, I've been commissioned by an anonymous friend to do some human toddler work. So when I get back expect a nice little submission with the links. ;3
