So I may have found a roommate near my work. :3 (because a 1-2 hour drive each way and living with my parents sucks, but rent is crazy). It's income based housing so she was worried I might make too much money (also not an issue, so long as I can find my tax paperwork). This could work out really well for me. More time, more money, more privacy. I'm pretty excited about it. My manager kind of offered me the same thing earlier, but my she is a drunk with an abusive bf; I don't need that kind of drama. The lady offering me a room this time is stable, healthy, and laid back.

HR and a department director almost wrote me up because I had the back of my hair in a hair tie. It's apparently against the rules for males to have a ponytail, even if the length of their hair is within the dress code. Utter BS. It's the only foodservice job where I actually got in trouble for putting my hair up instead of letting it down.
