Like the title says, think of this as a Job Board where you post what you want done and I'll notify you if I decide to pick up the job. Simple enough concept, right?
The rate is $30 per character for a sketch. Refs required.
If you want one, make a comment to this journal (no notes, just comments - if it's something you don't want to request publicly, hold onto it, I may do private ones some other time, but not this time). Write a simple (as in one or two sentence) but specific description of what you want to see. For each character, give a link or two (no more) for reference. If you want a friend's character in it, have them reply to your comment saying "yeah I give permission" or something to that effect. These are quick sketches, there's no corrections stage, so make sure the ref you give is accurate to work from.
You can ask for anything, I'll pick several that catch my interest, and I will note you if I've chosen yours. I'll get your paypal (or Serve) address and send you an invoice. Once that's paid, you're on the list and I will work off the list any time I'm randomly streaming. I won't have more than 5 of these on the list at any given time - I'll pick up more as I complete them.
I'll post the stream announcements, so if you can catch the stream and want to, that's cool. I will prioritize pics for people who are present over those who are not. If you're present, you can ask for changes or give some direction to the drawing (within reason), but again, quick sketches. If you miss the stream, you get what you get (you shouldn't be commissioning any artist if you don't have confidence in them that you will enjoy what they produce for you).
Payment will be either PayPal or Serve ( www.serve.com - it's awesome ) and you must have the funds available to make payment immediately upon having your pic selected.
This journal will remain up, so don't worry if you're seeing it after it's been up for a few days. Every so often I may check the comments and note people to see if they're still wanting the pic they asked for. I'll post a new "Job Board" journal every so often, and you're free to re-post jobs that weren't picked up from the previous one if you want to.
