I finally (2 days... I'm impatient) got my test copy of "Nix Nought Nothing" and it looks GREAT! It's way better quality than I thought it would be! I highly recommend Lulu for small publishing projects. The paper is a nice weight, appropriate for the size of the book and full color prints. The quality of the images on the inside is down right gorgeous. I was frankly a little shocked. For the price I paid to have it printed and the ease with which it was done, I was expecting much, much less.
I have yet to test out the gluing for the back. I'll rough my copy up a bit and see how it holds up.
The final price for these will most likely be about $20, which isn't bad considering it's 35 pages of high quality prints (I drooled a little 0_0) and some really amazing short stories. The number of actual images in the book is 20, so you're basically paying $1 per print plus extra goodies =)
So at AC I will be offering a discounted pre-order, be sure to find me in Artist's Alley if you want one! I'll have my copy there for everyone to skim through if you're curious.
(If the glue starts to fall apart on me the price will go down >( I hate books that do that. Big pet peeve)
