Commissions for Computer!

After getting something else i needed, i've decided i'm gonna start saving for a new computer. it's my best bet and i'm glad i've gotten as much help as i have from you guys and i'd appreciate any thing else you guys could pitch in (but at the same time i feel like i'm asking too much of you guys, i really hope i'm not!) Let's hope i can get this done, any suggestions as to what i should be looking for?

Well I need more info than that really to suggest a system:

First thing is first though, laptop or desktop and what is your budget?

well as for a budget, it's pretty much whatever i could raise and a friend's helping me out so we're still figuring out what the goal is. as for the type of computer, a laptop would be nice, considering i've never really been partial to desktops and i like to move around. my bad for not thinking of these types of things beforehand

Well the next thing i ask, is what you want to do with it. You can pick up netbooks pretty cheap but they have pretty bad components and are mostly facebook machines.

Something a little bit more powerful for drawing and a bit of gaming, but not too high end I am guessing?

Either way I will need a rough budget to suggest something, try or aim to get at least $400 for something half decent though.
