TMI Tuesday - Lady Helga von Bernerholdt

The subject of today's TMI Tuesday interview is Lady Helga von Bernerholdt, wife to Lord Karl von Bernerholdt in my Swiss Mix stories. She is his wife under a breeding contract, and has been the mother of two children for him - Hans and Heidi von Bernerholdt. They live apart now, Helga with her own lover, and Karl with his household full of under-aged French Maids. They plan to divorce once the Bernerholdt Inheritance is settled and her breeding contract concluded.

What did the elder Bernerholdt due to get you to sign the breeding contract?

Countess Agatha von Bernerholdt approached my family - my parents and I, with a strictly financial offer. My bloodline, the von Alpenstock family, is as good as the von Bernerholdts, noble for many generations. But unlike the von Bernerholdts, my family had fallen upon hard times financially. My parents were actually giving tours of my mansion in Bern and of their own home in another canton to common tourists, just to pay the taxes on our estates, and I was working full time as a mountain guide and explorer. We were not destitute, but we did need more money than our investments and occupations were bringing in.

Under the terms of the contract that she offered us, if I would marry her son and bear him two children, I would receive a generous 'allowance' each month for personal expenses, have fully paid medical benefits, the taxes and household staffing budget for my own mansion would be paid for, and I could apply for grants from the Bernerholdt Foundation, LLC, to fund my mountaineering expeditions. My parents would also have all their back taxes paid in full. If we grew to like each other enough to remain together after the contract, I would eventually become a Countess. If I chose to divorce Karl at the end of the contract, my family and I will still get a rather large financial reward for my 'services'.

To be blunt, she bought the use of my womb for cold, hard cash.

The price she offered was one I could not afford to refuse, and Lord Karl was considered to be a pretty good catch in the social circles of the nobility - and was a male who had appeared to be unattainable by any of the ladies that set their hearts on marrying him. It seemed like a good idea, at the time. The worst part, other than swallowing my pride and my misgivings about essentially being a very high priced breeding whore, was that I had to set aside the relationship I had with the male that I truly loved. That hurt. And it hurt much more when I found out that my new Husband had impregnated one of his child maids, while I was still pregnant with his firstborn son!

Breed with me? No, I am sorry, but I can't bear children with anyone but Lord Karl while I remain married to him. If I get caught doing so, I could lose everything that I gained by marrying him and bearing his two children. And once I get my divorce, I plan to marry my former lover, and have his children.

As for you breeding to my offspring, Hans and Heidi? That will soon be out of my hands. I doubt the Count and Countess would allow it. Whether they would wish to do so themselves is something you would have to ask Hans and Heidi directly.

Hello I got two questions for you. One you may want to hit me and I don't mind if you do as long as you answer the question. The first one would you bed your own daughter or son if they showed interest in you? I mean you accepted the fact that incest may be happening in the family and not said a dam thing.

This is the question you may actually want to hit me. Why are you so estranged from your own kids? I mean you don't even know who they are and it seems you could care less. If I had to compared your mothering skills to the typical mother frankly you would flunk. I Know you don't care for Karl; but these are your own kids and you should be part of their lives. I am sure  they would give you an honest chance if only you would do the same for them. So why are you being such a fucking bitch to your own flesh and blood?

I... don't think so. Incest isn't anything I have ever found interesting or particularly acceptable, although... line-breeding does happen in some of the best Purebred family trees - cases where, hopefully with some control and forethought, a father is bred to a daughter, or a mother to a son, for specific reasons to improve the breed. It wouldn't ever be desirable for a parent to force a child to mate with them, but there are some cases among purebreds where it might be accepted, if it is voluntary all the way around.

It's true that I have long suspected that Karl may be bedding his bastard daughter, Marie LeChow - and that if I am right and he's fucking Marie, he might also be committing incest with his other kids. But I have never been able to prove it, no matter how hard I tried. I even told Hans, Heidi and Marie in person that if Karl was hurting them in any way, all they had to do was tell me, and I would help them. They all denied absolutely that he was harming them in any way. Without proof, and without the support of at least one victim, all it would do if I complained would be to cause a scandal that could hurt all of us.

Karl's mother, Countess Agatha, hired the use of my womb to birth two kids for Karl using an iron-clad breeding contract, and she made it pretty damned clear that once the kids were born, she would be perfectly happy if I divorced her son and never darkened their doorways again. My family needed the money she offered, and so I set aside the relationship I had with the man I truly loved, to be Karl's breeding bitch as was required by that damned contract. I pretty much intended from day one of our breeding contract to fulfill only what the contract required, then take my divorce and go back to the bed of my former lover, Reudi. Think of it this way. If you're breeding non-intelligent animals as food, and you know that at some point they will be taken from you forever, you don't get attached to the animals as pets, right? Well, if you're breeding children, and you know that when the youngest turns ten, your parental rights will be terminated and you'll be expected to have only minimal contact with them after that, how much of your heart should you give them? I know Hans keeps a scrapbook of my adventures as a mountaineer. I try to keep track of Hans and Heidi's accomplishments too, and to send them letters and e-mails praising and encouraging them. But soon I will be separated from their lives. It isn't fair to any of us to get too close and affectionate.

Your being a bitch if you ask me. Even though you may not claim them as your own, when Heidi turns ten, you are still their mother. Nothing will be able to ever change that. You still have a right to be part of their lives if you so chose. Why don't you own up and be the mother you should be while you still have the chance to have your first two kids in your life. You missed their first words, them learning how to walk and so forth. What happens when they turn eighteen you can be part of their life freely since they are adults. Don't you think you should keep the line of communication open even if you can see them often till then?

This is for you Doggy how strict is contract exactly?

Countess Agatha, Karl's mother was quite the bitch herself when she specified what was in that breeding contract. It's four pages long, plus another eight pages of appendices that spell out details like exact payments and forfeiture clauses. It's as air-tight as a contract that is written by a team of lawyers hired by a millionaire can be. Among other things it included the clause "Should the marriage be annulled or revoked in any manner before fulfilling the terms of the contract, this breeding contract is forfeit, and the penalties invoked." That meant that if either Karl or Helga gave any reason for their marriage to end prematurely, they both would lose everything, regardless of who was at fault. It also required Helga to be locked in a chastity belt except when breeding to Karl, or being examined by her physician, or when certified to be pregnant. Only Karl and her doctor had keys to that chastity belt. Any pregnancy had to be DNA tested to ensure the child was only sired by Karl.

Once a child was born, it stated, "Care and welfare of the child is the responsibility of Lord Karl Bernerholdt and Lady Helga Von Bernerholdt, but may be designated as appropriate to a bonded wet nurse, governess, or nanny, to school officials, or to a designated and legally appointed guardian." Hence Helga appointed Miss Cheri as the children's governess and wet nurse, so she could go back to her career as a mountaineer.

Once Hans and Heidi both reach ten, and are certified as the heirs, the contract says this about Helga's station after the contract expires:

"Lady Helga Von Bernerholdt may then elect to continue as wife to Lord Karl Bernerholdt, in which case she will also be listed in the wills and inheritances of the family, and will receive all the benefits and honors suitable to her station, as well as other remunerations listed in the financial appendix below."

But if she did that, she would never be able to return to the man she loved. It also stated:

"Alternatively, when the contract has been fulfilled, Lady Helga Von Bernerholdt may elect to obtain a divorce, and her settlements and other remunerations for that course of action are spelled out in the “prenuptial agreements” clause of the financial appendix below."

Those prenuptial agreements terminated all parental rights for Helga if she and Karl divorced for any reason, giving Karl full custody of the kids. She would have no say in how they were raised or what they did and where they went. She could only send them birthday cards, Christmas cards, and letters or e-mails. She could still visit them, but only if invited by one of the kids, with Karl's and Agatha's permission.

Yes, once each child turned eighteen, they would be free to resume contact with their mother, and she to contact them. Assuming by then that they wanted to.

Is Helga being a bitch, and treating her own offspring in a heartless manner? Is she a poor mother? Yes on both counts. She never wanted to give up mountaineering - not until she was in her mid to late 40's, when she could no longer safely ascend the glaciers. She couldn't be a stay at home mom and also have her mountaineering career. Now, as her own age advances and she gets close to an age where bearing another child is risky, she might consider bearing a child for the man she loves, Reudi, retiring from mountaineering, and settling down with him. But she wasn't ready for that when this breeding contract started.
