A Little Something From Bad Dragon...

Gosh, they're sooo pretty.... I just... I wanna... just... put them in my mouth and... and... *drools*! X3
This must be what little kids feel like when they see something shiny for the first time... you know, like coins and other small toys and things they're always swallowing, lol. XP

Rofl. Ok, so I may have spent some of my savings on some stock BD toys... *drools some more*. They just arrived, yesterday evening, and I picked them up today. Luckily managed to sneak the package into the house without anyone noticing, not that the family is too nosy or anything (which they can be from time to time), but rather because they have to voice their opinions about me "wasting my money" and so on, and just yesterday the TPB comic book I ordered a week ago arrived. Strangely enough, the comic (shipped from Australia) and the BD toys (from America) were ordered on the same day.

So here's the story: Most of the family is going away next week, for almost two weeks, to visit some relatives. Not my idea of an ideal vacation... especially not when, for half the price of each of their tickets, I could buy myself two, count 'em TWO stock BD toys... =O

... Well, I suppose they are only smalls, but it was sorta a spur of the moment thing... which I'd been thinking about for weeks since they mentioned the holiday! Lol. X3

As the trip grew closer and closer, it occured to me that this could be my best, and ONLY opportunity to get me some BD toys, and have time to break them in. XD ... although, in all honesty, I rather suspect that they'll be the ones breaking me in! *blushes* X3

I placed the order a little earlier, in case they took longer to arrive, which is something I was seriously stressing over. What if the company were incredibly busy and they ended up arriving late, you know? =O
I am incredibly pleased with the prompt shipping and delivery, but now I have to wait about half a week before I can open them properly! Argh! XD

Due to an interesting thread on the BD forums about how people store their 'toys', however, I ended up also snagging myself a little toy wooden pirate treasure chest... in which both the toys fit perfectly, along with the bottle of cumlube and the sample discs! X3

The chest itself is an awesome toy... I kinda wish I'd had something like it when I was a kid *sigh*. Everything just seems to have been plastic, then and since. =\
The little chest is a little top heavy when open, but I could just put something heavy in the hidden compartment in the bottom.

I swear the $13 in silver in my money box is actually heavier than the wooden pirate chest. O_o
Sooo... maybe it really can be a chest full of treasure after all, both BD toys and real money? X3
Haha, maybe I can start a fund in the hidden compartment for a third BD toy? There's totally enough room inside for another one, up to about 10 inches long I think. Although I haven't taken them out of their sealed plastic sleeves yet; first I'll need some kinda cloth or bag to wrap them in and keep them safe... my precioussessessssssss *drools some more and pets his new toys* 83

Unfortunately, the chest doesn't actually have a lock, so I'll also need to find somewhere safe to hide it... short of actually drilling holes to install a hasp and padlock or two. Rofl, but I'm sure the turning skull latch will be enough to confuse most of my unimaginitive family... not that I anticipate any prying eyes and fingers going through my stuff, but... they do have a tendency to become suddenly curious about a box they haven't seen before and don't know what's in... maybe if I bury the treasure chest in one of the big plastic tubs full of Lego...? O.o

Oh dear, I think I've said too much. Hands off'n mah booty! Yarr! XD

Rofl, yeah, I'm sorta the shy, self conscious type with a tendency to always wear long shirts and pants. I just don't get how some people can walk around a house with other people, in just their underwear. O_o
Soon I'll have two weeks to run around NAKED! Woohoo!... ok, maybe not completely naked (we're getting some colder weather now XP), and probably not the entire house, but still. XD

I'm not looking to steal your booty, but rather the similarly named treasure you carry with you. *pounce!* (Or not, but the joke was there and, well, had to go with it. XD)

I always wanted to try something like this. Once I turned 18, my mom stopped opening my mail, but my brother who is nosier than most people might open it. Very happy you get to enjoy some fun with your new toys. But don't let your eagerness to use them have you making mistakes. That'll only lead to awkward situations k?

Thanks. ^_^
I'm usually pretty cautious about everything, always reading instructions and the like even when I don't need to, so hopefully there won't be any sort of awkward situations. I do remember a trip our science class took to the hospital one time, where they basically told us they get people with all kinds of things stuck and needing to be removed, haha. X3

Funny thing about the ship times, I guy I used to live with in Iowa got a package from Italy (quality tobacco pipes) in almost and approximate 18 hours 14 minutes. Thats almost half way around the world, their packages, international shipping, not mention, he didn't pay extra for a ruch delivery! I am recieving bills from the other side of the U.S. taking nearly a MONTH to get here, and it's just a letter! It takes nearly a week for me to get bills/letter from some places in a town that is only a 50 minute drive from here!

Sound like you will be having a vacation of your own, and a rather fun one at that. Good luck in your 'pirate/LotR' adventures!

Rofl, yeah, sometimes it literally is snail mail. =P

And thanks, it'll certainly be a more entertaining and enjoyable 'vacation' than visiting distant relatives, that's for sure. ^_^

True, and maybe your idea for funding to fill that box up will come quick for more toys! Though, word from experience, if you want to move out some time, try to not go overboard on material possesions, it's real pain moving with a buch of stuff. Especially for me, books are heavy as hell!

Rofl, I know, I once worked in a book store for a little while; lots of heavy book boxes. X3
I kinda left most of my stuff here, at home, when I went to Uni. Especially all my books! All I really took of my stuff was my computer, which had all my precious pr0ns, of course, so  Icouldn't have left that behind! D=
Heh, the funny thing is I kinda got into and accumulated a fair few comics while I was at Uni. Lego too. Heavy stuff, in bulk. XD

The fund is definitely a good idea, except I'd have to take the chest out and basically empty it to put change into the hidden compartment, which could be awkward, so... uh... maybe it'd be best to use the money box and just store it all in the chest after I empty it to count how much there is. =P

Well, as long as you get the funds to do/buy what makes you happy. Personally, I dislike Capitalism, so I would like to do away with having to buy things. Especially if they aren't spiritually fulfilling (no offense, I am still stuck in materialism myself).

Haha, yeah. We totally need replicators like on Star Trek. The main reason people tend to want something, and obsess over collecting things in general, is because they can't have it... like those replicators. I want them so bad! D8
Lol, humans are such silly creatures. =P

Or, to quote Spock: "After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing, after all, as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true."

I'm sure, however, this does not apply to my new BD toys. Having them will be far more enjoyable than wanting those in photos on the BD site as I stare wistfully through the screen. X3

I can have playing cards, but I collect them.... Sorry, just seemed your point of people collecting what they can't have has some holes. But I see ti working GREAT in the point of replicators as you mentioned, or for some, porn, as they can't have ALL (or in many cases, even one) of the girls/guys in them.

Sounds like Spock paraphrased a few chapters of The Bhagavad Gita into just two sentences! Not saying it's plagiarism, Gita was written long before that came to exist.

True, but it is better to not have any desires, and to not dwell in the world of the senses. Personally, I like it here! Or to some degree that is. So I may take some more time to become One, but at least I still dedicate part of my time to Spiritual Oneness and shorten the time. I feel this is my dharma, is it is quite possibly your dharma to have your toys. Speaking of, you keep using BD, I feel I don't quite know what BD is exactly. I understand it in BDSM, but any toys and 'non'-toys can be used in that.

Oh, I'm just saying BD instead of having to type 'Bad Dragon' over and over. XP They really do some fantastic stuff.
I too noticed the similarity of the acronym, and found it a little amusing.

I suppose I only mentioned half of that first point. By "can't have" something, I meant it is like those things that are forbidden and instantly accrue the interest of those forbidden to have/use it, as well as those who desire something impossible or literally can't afford something right now. In that case, ironically, it often happens that the object of your desire slips from the pedestal you place it upon when you finally can afford it.
What I forgot to mention is the tendency for people to desire things that other people have. Which I must confess I do when finding photos of impressive collections, of anything from Lego all the way to 'toys' from Bad Dragon. It's hard not to. X3

*sees title of this journal* Oh, I should have seen that one coming! *-*

Heh, Yeah, I hate when I see something I want (though rarely do I ever need them) and when I get the money for it and figure I'm in a fair financial situation, they don't have them anymore. Example, since I moved back to Oregon, I was having a hell of a time finding the simple luxuries I had in Iowa; ginger beer, keifer, gilato, and other foods. I finally found keifer in Oregon, but I only got to by one bottle, and I haven't seen it in the store since! >:(

Well, jeleousy isn't good, but worse is envy. XD
