Gosh, they're sooo pretty.... I just... I wanna... just... put them in my mouth and... and... *drools*! X3
This must be what little kids feel like when they see something shiny for the first time... you know, like coins and other small toys and things they're always swallowing, lol. XP
Rofl. Ok, so I may have spent some of my savings on some stock BD toys... *drools some more*. They just arrived, yesterday evening, and I picked them up today. Luckily managed to sneak the package into the house without anyone noticing, not that the family is too nosy or anything (which they can be from time to time), but rather because they have to voice their opinions about me "wasting my money" and so on, and just yesterday the TPB comic book I ordered a week ago arrived. Strangely enough, the comic (shipped from Australia) and the BD toys (from America) were ordered on the same day.
So here's the story: Most of the family is going away next week, for almost two weeks, to visit some relatives. Not my idea of an ideal vacation... especially not when, for half the price of each of their tickets, I could buy myself two, count 'em TWO stock BD toys... =O
... Well, I suppose they are only smalls, but it was sorta a spur of the moment thing... which I'd been thinking about for weeks since they mentioned the holiday! Lol. X3
As the trip grew closer and closer, it occured to me that this could be my best, and ONLY opportunity to get me some BD toys, and have time to break them in. XD ... although, in all honesty, I rather suspect that they'll be the ones breaking me in! *blushes* X3
I placed the order a little earlier, in case they took longer to arrive, which is something I was seriously stressing over. What if the company were incredibly busy and they ended up arriving late, you know? =O
I am incredibly pleased with the prompt shipping and delivery, but now I have to wait about half a week before I can open them properly! Argh! XD
Due to an interesting thread on the BD forums about how people store their 'toys', however, I ended up also snagging myself a little toy wooden pirate treasure chest... in which both the toys fit perfectly, along with the bottle of cumlube and the sample discs! X3
The chest itself is an awesome toy... I kinda wish I'd had something like it when I was a kid *sigh*. Everything just seems to have been plastic, then and since. =\
The little chest is a little top heavy when open, but I could just put something heavy in the hidden compartment in the bottom.
I swear the $13 in silver in my money box is actually heavier than the wooden pirate chest. O_o
Sooo... maybe it really can be a chest full of treasure after all, both BD toys and real money? X3
Haha, maybe I can start a fund in the hidden compartment for a third BD toy? There's totally enough room inside for another one, up to about 10 inches long I think. Although I haven't taken them out of their sealed plastic sleeves yet; first I'll need some kinda cloth or bag to wrap them in and keep them safe... my precioussessessssssss *drools some more and pets his new toys* 83
Unfortunately, the chest doesn't actually have a lock, so I'll also need to find somewhere safe to hide it... short of actually drilling holes to install a hasp and padlock or two. Rofl, but I'm sure the turning skull latch will be enough to confuse most of my unimaginitive family... not that I anticipate any prying eyes and fingers going through my stuff, but... they do have a tendency to become suddenly curious about a box they haven't seen before and don't know what's in... maybe if I bury the treasure chest in one of the big plastic tubs full of Lego...? O.o
Oh dear, I think I've said too much. Hands off'n mah booty! Yarr! XD
