Happy Easter

by
So Easter has come and gone. Did any of you guys actually "DO" anything for this holiday?
Family get togethers, meals, etc? I don't celebrate Easter for mainstream reasons. (I have
my own. XD) As I am Jewish, so i was just wondering how Christians Celebrate it.

Also... They are announcing a new PS4... Its not backwards compatable at all! Xbox hasn't
been announced yet... I'm turning 28 in may,. Am I too old to still love games?

1) I saw G.I. Joe Retalliation with the family, awesome movie
2) let's hope the PS4 has a good cooling system, because the damn thing caught on fire the first time
3) you are never too old to love games, NEVER!

Yeah, you're never too old to love games. England had a special of a lady who is in her 90's and still playing games. As long as you can be responsible with your free time, nothing wrong with playing games.

It's like asking if you can be too old to watch a good movie or too old to read a good book.

Anyway, my family still does an easter bag hiding full of sweets and generally spends time together. It's enjoyable.

I love games, but I'm not seeing anything special coming from the PS4. Lacking backwards compatability is a big sin in the industry nowadays, and with so many cookie cutter games nowadays, it requires enjoyable gameplay over graphics, which Sony has often sacrificed gameplay in favor of graphics.

Other then a typical shooter, have you honestly seen anything other then tech demos for the PS4?

Parents went to church-- a big step given my mother's current, weakened state.
Parents and I went over to the home of my de-facto siblings for a big fat Easter dinner. Socializing and good times were had.
I ate a take-home plate of the Easter Sunday goodies for both lunch and dinner today.

Chug some Gneech!  I mean Chag Sameach!

Christians celebrate it by doing pagan things like searching for eggs and other fertility symbols and watching pseudo-historical TV movies instead of The Walking Dead.  I'm old fashioned so didn't put any Christian dressing on the pagan holiday.  I attended an Ostara circle, went for a long hike on Friday, kayaking on Saturday, and Chinese food with my mother on Sunday.

I dyed some eggs, barbequed up a whole mess of chicken (I made two kinds of sauce, good old fashioned spicy red and tropical citrus with chili pepper), went on an egg hunt with my nieces, drank some bubbly and a bit of red wine, and generally spent the day relaxing with my family. Good times.

Also, I made a medium sized sweet bun in the shape of an Easter bunny that turned out pretty cute.

My mom-in-law gave us a bunch of candy.

Oh god, I feel so disgusting for eating it all. D:

Yeah, we treat it as a family holiday. That said, only my parents and grandparents are Christian. Me, my brother and my sister (and her boyfriend) aren't religious.
