nope doesnt work still, still the white box   this is the page:  http://yiffox.com/test-4/

I can't call the flash file directly either  http://yiffox.com/flash/Bigmac.swf

I've even tried using the absolute hosting path, but same result

Double-check your path.  http://yiffox.com/test-4/flash/Bigmac.swf returns a 404.

that's odd, it wasn't pulling up a page before, it was pulling up a whitebox, ah, maybe in playing with it, I had flash make a html file for it and put it in that directory, but before I did that, it was just coming up a blank screen

proper link is http://yiffox.com/flash/Bigmac  test-4 is the page wordpress is supposed to show the flash on, the other is the direct link to the file

Well, re-upload your SWF file; make sure the directory you're uploading to is the one you're referencing in your HTML code, and if it's still not working, double check all your settings in Flash.  There are multiple ways to save a Flash file.

Beyond that, make sure your host supports Flash.  I haven't run into such issues since the 90s, but occasionally, hosting companies either disable certain file types, or forget to enable them.

hmm, well supposedly they allow them...i've tried re-uploading it a few times.  What do you mean double check flash settings?

It's been a few years, but I seem to recall there are several options when saving/exporting in Flash.  Check any requirements from your hosting provider, and double-check your export options in Flash.

However, first thing's first, make sure that file isn't returning a 404.  It may be a directory permissions issue; try uploading the file to your web root (where your top-level Index.* file is) and using that path as your REF= attribute.
