F***ing computers

by
I've had an on and off driver issue with my PC for a while now, every time I think I've fixed it comes back again eventually for no logical reason so I've now decided fuck it and am going to reinstall Windows.  I'm currently backing up over 200 gigs of files and will hopefully be able to get back to work this weekend.

The problem is not getting the drivers.  It is once they are installed my pc craps itself.

Sorry to hear it, man. May I recommend CrashPlan once you get everything back online? It's well worth it. Free for local backup, like $50 for a year of completely unlimited offsite backup.

Which OS do you use? If its Windows XP (and it's habit of deleting it's own drivers) I symphasise.

No its 7, its generally far more stable and reliable than XP ever was but these issues still occur because MS' programmers suck balls.

I use an online service called Soluto (soluto.com).  It's pretty good, and it's free for up to 5 PCs.  I'm running on Win7x64, and it keeps it up to date, keeps my boot speed good, and keeps my browser startup speed maxed.

xD well o3o
my old computer got everytime trouble when he restarted idk why and what he had but yea, i decided to leave him on and never restart him again ... xD but then got i a BSOD after 3 months and that was the death for my old pc o3o but that made me so paranoid that i fear everytime that the same could happen to my new computer xD

the top time from my new computer (i mean 24/7 not restarted) was 257 days O3O xD until a electricy blackout came in =( that broke the record T..T

I get the "your display driver has stopped responding" error at random.  My screen goes blank then comes back after everything that was open has crashed or not at all. I load windows and sometimes its just black and wont load anything on my screen at all.  It's a display driver issue that is directly linked to my PC supposedly not performing correctly when I know for a fact that my PC runs incredibly well 24/7.

This error unfortunately keeps deciding this is not the case and keeps crashing my pc's display driver which in turn resets the GPU forcing either a total reset of whats on screen or a straight crash.  I know it isn't a memory leak or a hardware issue so its simply that my drivers keep not wanting to work as they should.

I had an issue like that with a past nvidia driver (one or two drivers past). They updated since then, and I haven't had it again.
